Mga paps at TS! Can you enlighten me on how to setup firewalls and what's the use of it? Need an idea on what is that really meant and I was advised to use pfsense. Installing pfsense is not a problem but how to work on pfsense and how it works. Hope someone can help. Thank you!

Mga paps need help. I'm giving Pydio a run. sa installation pa lang ako. I'm using Ububtu Server 16.04
whenever I try this one--> wget -qO - https://download.pydio.com/pub/linux/debian/key/pubkey | sudo apt-key add -
I get--> gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found.
I tried some suggestions na nakita ko sa net like installing ca-certificates--> apt-get install ca-certificates
pero same pa din ang error na nakukuha ko pag irun ko na ulit wget....

Nakakita na din ako ng solution
Share ko na lang din in case na merong makaencounter.
Since dii sya makuha, minanual nalang by navigating to temp directory--> cd /tmp
then kunin yung file ilagay sa temp directory--> wget https://download.pydio.com/pub/linux/debian/key/pubkey
then iadd na yung public key--> apt-key add pubkey

Sinukuan ko yung Pydio. Nainstall ko naman sya then after ko nagcheck ng update at ininstall, nagkandeletche-letche na hahaha
Nag switch ako to ownCloud. So far, ok naman sya. Meron pa po bang ibang nakapagtry ing ownCloud dito especially yung latest stable version (v. 10.0.8)??

Mga paps plano ko sanang mag develop ng system sa aming office. Manual systems pa lahat gamit nila. Tanong ko lang kung ano magandang server apps na gamitin. Okay na ba yung XAMPP? Tas plano ko yung Unit ko yung gagawing server kasi medyo wala pa silang budget. Thanks po in advance mga ka IT!

Haven't tried pero mas ok ata UI ng Zabbix try mo din check paps depende pa din sa requirement mo...

Thanks sir sa reply. currently zabbix ang gamit namin na pag monitor. madalas lang mawala yung graph ng nasa kabilang site kasi thru IP radio yung connection ng isa

Yep idol, tatry ko migrate to Nextcloud. May problem pa ako sa ngayon ee. Dii ko maadd yung groups sa LDAP to owncloud.

Tanung ko po pwde po ba ito mag aggregate between 2 switches para mag increase yung bandwidth since supported po yung lag gusto ko 2 port gawing uplink .
Or suported po ba yung LACP (port bonding) na tinatawag.

Example: Switch 1 connect to switch 2

Bali ang gusto ko pong mangyari is between 2 switch mag lagay ako ng 2 cat6 gigabit wire in order to increase bandwidth and able to achieve 2gbps instead 1gbps at the same time po for redundancy purposes.

si juniper basic router na lang yung nagagawa niya.
yung madali lang sana iconfigure. haha

TS ano ba difference ng pfsense at untangle? Tsaka pwede ba kahit Workstation unit lang ang gamitin kong requirements para sa pfsense ko?

PFsense and untangle are both firewall servers ang difference lang is ang branding. PFsense is open-source whilst untangle has paid features. Pde ang regular workstation for pfsense ang kailangan mo lang is 2 lan cards. 1 card for external and 1 card for internal network. Not sure if pde ang pfsense for fileserver since this is not a common practice, madalas Samba ang gamit for file server.

Hi guys ask ko lang possible po ba mag link aggregate with 5-10 or more managed switch? Bali yung lahat ng switch is interconnect at aggregate lahat.

hi guys,

hindi na ako masyadong nagiging active dito kasi hindi na ako sa isang smb nagwo-work.
Kakalipat ko lang sa isang banko (nasa top 10.. Hehe)
basta pag may time ako sasagot pa rin ako ng mga katanungan nyo. Especially yung mga
nag-struggle sa mga smb companies na tulad ko dati hehe.
