GPRS internet connection on cell phone
The benefits of having GPRS internet connectivity on mobile phone. Things which cell users can do with the net connection.

GPRS Internet
Getting a GPRS internet connection on cell phone is nothing new, not even in the countries supposed to be third world, however using this service efficiently to its maximum potential is more important. Mobile connectivity has given us the freedom from wires, Accessing the internet on cellphone is a whole new dimension now. The benefits of utilizing this new technology are aplenty, following article will brief you about few.

GPRS Connectivity
GPRS which stands for General Packet Radio Service is a bearer service of the Global System for Mobile (GSM) communications, which offers packet data capabilities / transfers. The important characteristic of the data service provided by GPRS is that it operates in an end-to-end packet mode, which means that no communication resources are exclusively reserved for supporting the communication needs of any individual mobile user. Interstringly, the communication resources are utilized on a demand basis and are statistically multiplexed between several mobile users. This certain characteristic renders GPRS ideal for applications with irregular traffic properties (such as Web browsing, email, online data synchronize etc). With this type of traffic, the benefits of statistical multiplexing are exploited to the best extent. We obtain high utilization efficiency of the communication resources. A direct effect of this property is the drastically increased capacity of the system in the sense that one can support a large number of mobile users with only a limited amount of communication resources necessary. This allows for wide-area wireless Internet access.

Benefits of GPRS
The Internet is a great way to stay in touch with friends and family here or abroad and when it comes to mobile internet the benefits are the same. Through the Internet one can send emails, communicate real time with friends or make new friends. There are plethora so-called social networking sites (like Facebook, Twitter, Friendfeed), that allow you to find friends that you haven’t seen in years, and share your everyday life with everybody that you know by posting comments, pictures, videos etc. To evaluate all of Goodness of internet access by GPRS one cand o the following things:

Online Banking via various bank mobile gateways
Watching videos online streaming or mobile resized
Online shopping via mobile commerce
Booking tickets / travel / flights etc via mobile web shops
Searching for general information and doing research
Listening to music or the radio online

There is so much more goodness in GPRS internet connection on cell phone, so many things which cell users can do with net connection, benefits and comfort at par with the mobility ( GPRS Connectivity ).

Hack Symbian s60 3rd and 5th edition mobile phones

Hack Symbian series 60 third and fifth edition mobile phones by HelloOX2, allow installation of unsigned installer files.

Symbian s60
Symbian OS is an operating system ( OS ) developed for mobile devices and smart phones, with associated libraries, user interface, frameworks and reference implementations of common tools, originally developed by Symbian Ltd. The Symbian Software Limited was later acquired by Nokia and a new independent non-profit organisation called the Symbian Foundation was established. User interface such as Series 60 ( commonly known as s60 ) are the major highlights of Symbian Operating systems, these are usually termed as Symbian Platforms.

Hack Mobile Phone
Symbian Operating system phones were quite in demand owing to the ease of use and the availability of a range of applications. Development of applications for Symbian phones was satisfactory enough but was not profitable enough as there was rampant application cracking and piracy. With the introduction of OS 9.1 of Symbian s60 3rd edition phones, steps were taken to put an end to the installation of third party cracked software on Symbian third edition phones. A system of application signing was introduced. The system is still present in Symbian series 60 third and fifth edition mobile phones and has only got more stringent with more development. However a group of application crackers came together to form HelloOX2 by bringing together all their application cracking skills.

HelloOX2
HelloOX2 is one step hacking tool for all Symbian S60 3rd and 5th mobile phones. Hacking here means that it can provide full access to persons mobile phones system folders and files, with such a capability, HelloOX2 can install a root certificate to the phone. With the root certificate and key pair one could sign any application to install, including the Manufacturer capabilities requested applications. The constant annoying error of unsigned cracked applications gets completely fixed!

HelloOX2 keeps on getting updated as Symbian programmers add more stringent application signing systems. To get the latest HelloOX2 for your Symbian phone visit helloox2.com. Follow simple steps and you will be hacking through your phone in no time. One through it you will be able to forcefully allow installation of unsigned installer files. Enjoy cracked applications at zero cost.

Increase battery life of mobile phones and laptops make them last longer
Tips and tricks on how to increase battery life of mobile phones and laptops and increasing their work time.

Increase Battery Life
Storage batteries have now become an integral part of every mobile device, may it be cellphone, laptop, iPad, iPod, iPhone, kindle or any electronic gadget which is supposed to work in wire free environment. The energy storage technologies alongside have tremendously increased too. Right from Nickle-Cadmium (Ni-Cad) to Lithium Ion (Li-on), there has been a phenomenal development in the field of Energy density, efficiency and shelf life. But yet still we have not been able to create a battery which may last for at least two decades or more without undergoing energy capacity storage decay. This is where the battery management comes into effect. The following paragraphs will give considerable insights into a little of battery knowledge and tips to maximize battery shelf life.

Nickel Cadmium Battery
Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cad) are the most prevalent and rugged type of rechargeable batteries in the market. Ni-Cad batteries perform better in extreme temperatures and can endure approximately 750 charge and discharge cycles. However, they are prone to * memory effect * (cant remember the charge level) when they are not completely discharged after each cycle. These batteries are however being slowly phased out from the market especially from the cell phone market due to the memory effect.

Nickel Metal Hydride Battery

Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) is a more developed product from Ni-Cad batteries. It offers up to 40 percent additional capacity compared to a Ni-Cad battery of equal size. NiMH batteries are not subject to memory effect degradation. These batteries generally have a life expectancy of approximately 400 charge/discharge cycles.

Lithium Ion Battery
Lithium Ion(Li-on) is the newest portable power technology. Li-on is developed to deliver roughly twice the run time of a comparable NiMH battery. Li-on batteries are more expensive, and are available for a very limited number of devices. They must also be charged by a charger designed specifically for Li-on batteries. Li-on technology has a life span same as that of NiMH batteries i.e about 400 charge / discharge cycles and is completely immune to memory effect.

Mobile Phone Battery usage tips
The following tips should help a user increase life of mobile phone batteries and make them last longer for their designated work time.

1) Turn off the mobile phone, it is possibly the most effective and most simple way of conserving battery power. Turn the cell phone off if you do not plan on answering the phone while sleeping or after business hours.

2) Stop searching for a signal, in an area with poor or no signal, the mobile phone will constantly look for a better connection, and will use up all the power in doing so.

3) Switch off the vibrate function on your phone, and use just the ring tone instead. The vibrate function uses up a lot of battery power. Keep the ring tone volume as low as possible.

4) Turn off phones back light. The back light is something which makes the phone easier to read in bright light or outside. However, the light also uses battery power. If one can get by without it, the battery will last longer.

5) Avoid using unnecessary features like flash photography, unnecessary applications running in the background using memory, processing power as well as battery.

6) Keep calls short. If one needs to conserve the battery power then they should limit their talk time.

7) Turn off Bluetooth. It drains cell phones battery very quickly.

8) Turn off Wifi, GPS, and infrared capabilities, if the phone has these features built in, keeping them off will save more power.

9) Use GSM - Using mobile phone in 3G or Dual Mode will drain the battery quicker than expected, just use GSM mode it will maximize work time.

10) Consider the type of cellular phone and technology (analog or digital) one is using. Some phones require less power.

11) Roaming requires more battery usage than using a local network.

12) Antenna efficiency, network efficiency, operating temperature, and proximity to a cellular antenna site will also affect battery consumption.

More tricks involved in increasing the mobile phone battery shelf life are
- Not talking on phone while it is being charged.
- Charging the phone to its full limit as stated in the mobile phone manual before using it.
- Increasing time between recharges.
- Keeping the batteries cool, more hotter the battery gets the more faster it will deplete.
- Removing and storing the batteries in a clean and dry place if they are not meant to be used for longtime.

Laptop Battery Usage Tips Tricks
Laptop users can conserve battery power by using the following tips and tricks.

1) Optimize the power management features provided on the system. Managing the power used by hard drive will save significant amounts of power and will extend usage time.

2) Decrease screen brightness. On color systems, one can save quite a bit of power by changing to less resource consuming mode. black-and-white (monochrome) if possible.

3) Turn off modem if possible. Remove any Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) cards not in use (they consume power consistently).

4) Do not leave the power cell in the system with the AC adapter plugged in unless the system is being charged.

5) Avoid running large amount of applications, they increase processing and so consume more power.

Laptops are mobile devices every technology similar between laptops and mobiles will have the same effect on battery power though different in ratio. Using these tips and tricks one can conserve huge amount of power, extend working time and decrease unproductive usage. How many such tips and tricks can be implemented is solely upon the end user.

Basic Mobile Trick IMEI number

Basic mobile trick and the potential of IMEI - International Mobile Equipment Identity

Cell Phone Trick

Mobile communication systems and specifically mobile phones have been creating a certain revolution of their kind. Today the amount of mobile phone subscribers in world stands to a staggering 4 billion (approximate figure). With the expansion of mobile networks, introduction of cool cell phone models and the continuous development in cellular technologies has made the world surprisingly closer. Even third world countries have not been spared from this magic of cellular revolution, with almost every person possessing a mobile phone the role of mobile phones just increases along with its importance. A person carrying a mobile phone is potentially the best connected person in the world, owning a mobility device which can do many theoretically impossible actions. Sadly but true the person owning the mobility device does not understand the potential he or she is in possession of. Rarely it is true that the consumer knows all the tips, tricks and unconventional data which he or she can use to do certain tasks more efficiently

Basic Mobile Trick IMEI

The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI)
The IMEI number is used by the GSM network to identify valid devices and therefore can be used to stop a stolen phone from accessing the network in that country. For example, if a mobile phone is stolen, the owner can call his or her network provider and instruct them to *ban* the phone using its IMEI number. This renders the phone useless in that country, whether or not the phones SIM is changed. However, the phone can be used abroad.
To check IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) for any mobile or cellular phone.
On the main screen type *#06#
Copy the IMEI number, it will be either 14 digit number or may even be a latest 16 digit number which would have extra two digits at the end of the number such a reformed number is called IMEISV (IMEI Software Version).
The IMEI number can be divided in the format AA-BBBBBB-CCCCCC-D and for IMEISV it will be AA-BBBBBB-CCCCCC-EE.
The codes are explained as follows
AA: Reporting Body Identifier, indicating the GSMA-approved group that allocated the model TAC
BBBBBB: The remainder of the TAC
CCCCCC: Serial sequence of the model
D: Luhn check digit of the entire number (or zero)
EE: Software Version Number (SVN).

TAC = Type Allocation Code

IMEI is very important number for the following reasons:
1)To verify that the bought mobile phone is the same that was packaged. IMEI number is printed on the mobile carton and should be verified not just by pressing the *#06# keys but also the printed number behind below the battery, this protects against counterfeiting.
2)A target for lawful interception (wiretapping) can be specified by its IMEI number as well as IMSI and MSISDN, which means that calls originating from a single mobile device even after changing SIM cards can be traced.
3)Stolen mobile phones can be rendered useless.

Simple mobile tricks, universal to every cell phone can make life so much interesting and efficient.
