sir san po makikita un others folder dito sa ifunbox ..mejo baguhan lan po kasi ako d2 sa itouch e..sir pag pinindot ko po ba un reset all contents and settings sa itouch ko mawawala ba un jailbreak ko o un laman lan ng itouch ko?

mga sir help po,tama naman ung mga ndownload ko pero no identifying data fetched po lumalabas! help

nasolved ko din hehe,,google lang..
run as xp then manually ipsw..

nawala sa isip ko na naka check for updates automatically un itunes ko. so non nagsync ako kagabi napansin ko na lumaki un "OTHER" file ko. then ginamit ko na un ipod touch, andon na sa settings icon un indicator na may update ako available: ios 5.1. ayoko xang iupdate kase hinihintay ko un unthethered for ios5. questions ko.

1. may way ba para maalis ko un indicator (un number 1 sa upper right non settings icon) without updating? and may way ba para maalis ko un update na to sa "OTHER" folder ko?

2. kung restore settings ang option ko para mawala un, pag ba nagrestore ako nagsync ulit from back up e babalik pa din lahat ng nakalagay sa ipod ko (e.g. games, un progress ko sa mga games, contacts, un mga folders ng application)? o literally back to zero?

3. in relation sa 2nd question, pag ba nagrestore and sync from back up eh di na babalik sa others folder un update? o kaya, di ba xa magaauto update during the process?

ipod touch 4g pala unit ko. salamat po!

Answers:

1. Hindi nyo po maaalis yung notification na sa settings icon ng iPod touch nyo. Lumalabas po talaga yun para i notify kayo about sa latest iOS version na available para sa iPod touch nyo.

Yung mga 3rd party app from cydia, Subsystem, Cache file, temp file at iba pa yung mga nakikita nyo na capacity under Other files indicator sa iTunes... Hindi nyo po pwedeng alisin yun kasi mamaaring mag cause ng conflict sa System at Subsystem ng iPod touch nyo. Minsan pag may file na naka install sa iPod nyo na hindi ma identify ng iTunes kung anong files sya ay napupunta po sa others.

2. Kung mag rerestore kayo ng iPod touch nyo ay syempre ma foformat sya kaya babalik ulit sa normal size yung Others nya kasi nabura na yung mga files na nag cause nito kagaya nung example ko na mga files sa number 1 na sagot ko sa tanong nyo. Kapag Jinailbreak, nag install ng mga 3rd party app from cydia at iba pa ay possible lumaki ulit yung other files ng iPod touch nyo. Mas madaming app na naka install mas madaming cache file na ma sstore sa Other files.

3. Kung mag rerestore kayo sa version na hindi na naka sign sa iTunes ay hindi po kayo makakapag restore sa ganung version. Kung ang nai backup nyong files sa iTunes ay mga cracked app ay hindi nyo sya ma rerestore sa iPod touch nyo hanggang hindi nyo pa ito na jajailbreak at na iinstallan ng appsync.

Hindi mag popopup yung update kung mag rerestore kayo basta wag nyo lang i cclick yung check for update/software updates.

Kahit makita nyo yun ay hindi po sila advisable na burahin kasi baka mag cause ng conflict sa subsystem ng iPod touch nyo at hindi na sya mag boot as normal...

mga master, enge po link kung san ako maka download 4.2.1 kasi jailbreak ko ipod touch 2g.

better kung ung kasam tut.. error na kasi pag itunes ginamit ko dl eh..

1. Dapat ang naka intall na iTunes sa PC nyo ay yung 10.2.2.12 na pwedeng ma download dito - > http://www.symbianize.com/showthread.php?t=255674

2. Download nyo yung 4.2.1 firmware ng iPod touch 2G nyo dito - > iPod2,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw

3. Connect nyo ang iPod touch sa iTunes tapos i DFU mode nyo sya. Check nyo po dito kung papaano mag DFU mode - > http://www.symbianize.com/showpost.php?p=7650042&postcount=4

4. Pag naka DFU mode na po ang iPod nyo sa iTunes ay ma dedetect sya nito na in restore Mode.

5. Pag naka Restore mode na ang iPod sa iTunes ay hold nyo yung Shift key sa keyboard ng PC nyo tapos click nyo yung Restore button sa iTunes then mag bbrowse sya tapos select nyo yung 4.2.1 firmware ng iPod touch 2G nyo.

6. Pag na restore na sya sa iTunes ay i set nyo yung iPod as New iPod touch tapos sync para ma save ang mga settings.

7. After ma sync sa iTunes ay saka nyo po i jailbreak using Greenpos0n RC6.1 using this guide start sa step 6 - > http://www.symbianize.com/showthread.php?t=349636 .

Sa totoolang bitin po talaga ang 8GB lalo na kung Jailbroken ang iDevice kasi 1 to sawa ang mga apps...

Ako nga po ay bitin sa 32GB lalo pa kaya sa 8GB

Kung ano nlang po muna yung priority nyong app ay yun nlang po muna ang i install nyo para ma budget nyo yung capacity ng iPod touch nyo

sir bakit ganun accidentally na update essential ng kapatid ko ung ipod ko tapos bigla nalang nabago ung themes tapos nung ini-enter ko na yung passcode ko mali na siya. ni-try ko rin ung default 0 ayaw pa rin. tapos ni try ko sync ayaw na nya. disabled for 1 min. please help

waa my bago ako prob sir..nadelete ko ung ipsw 5.0 ..pag nagreboot ba ko ng tethered ay kelangan ko pa un??

Sa case ng iPod touch nyo ay possible may nag conflict sa subsystem nya nung nag update kayo ng mga essentials files sa cydia tapos na wrong passcode pa kayo ng maraming beses kaya sya na disable. Kung sure kayong tama ang passcode na ini enter nyo ay try nyong i off yung iPod touch then i On ulit tapos try nyo kung tatanggapin na yung passcode nyo.

Kapag hindi tinangap yung passcode or tuluyan nang na disable ang iPod touch nyo ay restore nlang po ang way para ma format ay magamit ulit yung iPod touch.

Nope. Hindi na kailangan ng 5.0 firmware. Try nyong i plug sa back usb port ng PC nyo yung USB cable.

Naka Semitether po ba ang iPod touch nyo?

iTunes 10.5 po ba ang naka install sa PC nyo?

Try nyo po sa ibang PC baka mag work. Kung ayaw pa din ay saka po kayo mag decide na i restore nlang sya sa 5.0. Make sure na naka DFU mode muna yung iPod nyo before mag restore sa 5.0.

Try nyo po sa ibang PC baka mag work. Kung ayaw pa din ay saka po kayo mag decide na i restore nlang sya sa 5.0. Make sure na naka DFU mode muna yung iPod nyo before mag restore sa 5.0.

nsa recovery mode po sya sabi sa itunes..try ko muna po yung manually ipsw tapos just boot after ng download ko..
ang tanong ko po now is magboboot pa po ba to kahit nasa recovery mode?
