Need help in upgrading!

16gb ram
Gigabyte GA-H81M
GTX 650 Ti Boost

Need help lang mga bossing. Bought this unit from a friend and gusto ko lang magupgrade. Ano mai-susuggest nyong upgrade sa cpu/gpu ? Budget is around 10-15k. Also plano ko rin magdagdag ng isa pang monitor ano dapat iconsider ? Need help/guidance lang po 1st time ko lang magkaron ng sariling pc hehe. Thanks!

4th gen cpu, mukhang wala na to sa mainstream kasi 8th gen na ang latest. Hindi praktikal ts kasi kung magpapalit ka ng cpu ay madadamay yun motherboard at masaklap pati yun ram so para ka rin gumastos halos ng malaki. Pwede sana kung skylake-6th gen or kabylake 7th gen yun cpu OR sana nag ryzen ka at hindi ka talo sa specs. Pero kung pursigido ka dyan ay hanap ka ng 4th gen na i5 o i7 cpu na 2nd hand para hindi malungkot yun 16gb ram at gtx650 mo.... pero ingat lang sa pagbili baka sira makuha mo. Kailangan magpasama ka sa may alam sa specs ng pc

You can try checking the used market for any i5 or i7 4th gen cpu, like maybe an i7-4770? I think the current price for a used i7-4770 is around 6-7k? I'm not sure, check nyo na lang po. Then for the gpu, maybe a used gtx 970 or 1060 will do. Pascal gpus have significantly dropped in price since the Turing was released. A used gtx 970 costs about 5-6k nowadays. The 1060 3gb costs about 6k used and the 6gb is about 7-8k used. Shoot pa rin sa budget nyo na 15k.


Regarding monitors, depends on what you're going to use it for. If it's more on gaming, get a 120 or 144hz monitor for smoother performance. The gtx 970/1060 is sufficient enough for 1080p gaming on 144hz, 23-24" IPS or VA monitor.
