Good news!
Starting January 7 all prepaid loads will have a 1 year validity.... well, if the telcos follow the new circular imposed by the government!

But, as I was expecting... the telcos are not ready to give us 1 year expiration on small loads... yet! Now, the new rule applies to prepaid load worth P300 and above starting January 6. Load worth less than P300 will only be covered by July 5.

Kini-click ko yung rappler link. Sa SONA ni Pnoy nare-redirect. Hindi ko tuloy mabasa.

Anyway, question.

Yung sinabi mong July 15, ibig sabihin, magsisimula pa lang mag-effect yung 1 year validity sa mga loads less than 300 pesos pagdating pa ng date na yan?

You understood properly!

here is the latest news statement from Globe:

Ang sabi sa article ng Rappler...

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – The Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) has delayed the implementation of its rule on one-year expiration for prepaid load worth less than P300 to give more time for telecommunication companies to adjust to the new regulation.

and also...

"We allowed this to prevent their systems from the possibility of crashing if changes are made abruptly, which will not only highly inconvenience the consuming public but may even cause serious damage to the telco industry," DICT acting chief Eliseo Rio Jr said on Friday.

To prevent crashing ang reasoning nila. Really?

I mean, this is an honest and innocent question.

It's not fake news! First even if it's not approved as you said, still the news is true... but people already reported that their 300 pesos load are good for one year na!

Good questions... but I don't have the answers!

I mean, may GCASH ako. At pwedeng bumili ng GCASH to load yourself. May 10% rebate pa. Best of all, walang expiration.

So walang tapon.

So I advice everyone to start using GCASH for your personal load needs.

Not sure ano ang wording nila.

As long as the load is 300+ magiging 1 year ang validity?
Or ang pag load mo ng 300 pesos

Maski ako, naguguluhan.

Last Wednesday, nasa Globe Store ako sa SM North.

Waley. As in wala silang idea.

May tanong ako..nagpaload ako 500 last december pero may natitira pang 200..kung magpaload kaya ako 300...macacarry expiration yong natira last year?

Probably.
