Photo Text Effect Tutorial

[Mouwasat]

Try natin convert any photo into a text effect using Photoshop.

so from initial photo na ito:

Step by Step procedure:

1. Open mo file na gusto mo gawan ng effect.
2. Use Color Range
-Select>Color Range
-Select mo Shadows then click ok

3. Press Ctrl+j para macopy ung Shadows. Rename Layer to Shadows
4. Select Background Layer ulit, this time Mid Tones naman.
-Select>Color Range
-Select mo Midtones then click ok

5. Press CTRL+J para macopy ung midtones, then rename Layer into Midtones
6. Fill the Layers
-Select mo and Shadow layer, then select Edit>Fill
-Choose mo ung black from the drop down menu, check Preserve Transparency, then hit OK

-Select mo naman ngayon ang Midtone layers, then same process, pero gawin mo is 50% Grey naman.
7. Select Shadow Layer then press CTRL+E para ma merge ang dalawang layers.
8. Make WORD brushes.
-dito pwede mo icustomize and nais mo na words para maging brush.
-Create new document
-type mo naman ngayon ang words na nais mo

-Using rectangular Marquee too, select mo naman ngayon ang isang word
-go to Edit>Define Brush Preset, then give it a brush name

-Ulitin hanggang sa maging brush lahat ng nais na word na iyong napili.
9.Balik ka ngayon sa dating file, at sa top ng layers, create a neew layer
-Fill ninyo ng white at change opacity to 80%

10. Create a new layer, then using brush na ginawa ninyo, fill ninyo ng words ang portrait.
-para mas mapadali, pwede ninyo adjust ang brush Scatter, Jitter at Spacing.

tuloy sa ibaba ang next step, hanggang 10 images lang pala ang pwede hehe

Ganito magiging kalabasan ng Layer ninyo:

11. Click Midtones layer naman ngayon tapos hold down the ALT key tapos click ang eye sa left side nito para ma-itago ang ibang layer.
12. Press CTRL+A to select all then CTRL+C to Copy
13. Select and Reveal the Words Layer then click the Add layer mask icon
-Hold down ALT and Clikc the Layer mask Thumbnail for the view of the entirely white mask
-Press CTRL+SHIFT+V para ma-paste sa Mask.
-Press CTRL+D para madeselect.
14 ADD LAYER STYLE
-Press CTRL+I para mainvert ang Mask
-Click naman ngayon ang ginawang white Layer at ibalik ang Opacity nito sa 100%
-Click the top layer and paint ninyo ng black para makuha ang ibang details but keep the opacity sa low.
-Click the Add Layer Style Icon, the select Gradient Overlay
-Gawin makulay ang inyong nais na image

15 Finalize.
-add ulit ng new layer.
-Fill ninyo ito ng word preset na inyong ginawa sa mga nais malagyan.
-Same procedure apply ulit kayo ng Gradient Overlay para mapalitan ang color.
-then ang maging final is Ganito:
