Obviously, kung naka CGNAT ka (which most ISP worldwide are now using because of the shortage of IPv4 addresses), then kahit anong gawin mo, hindi ka talaga makakapag port forward.

CGNAT ranges from 100.64.0.0 to 100.127.255.255. Now, kung ganyan ang WAN IP mo, then you technically don't have the capability of port forwarding.

If you're not in CGNAT, just like mine (49.xxx.xxx.xxx), then makakapag port forward ka.

For PLDT, technically, all residential plans are by default in CGNAT (for the same reason I mentioned above: Shortage of IPv4 Addresses). Pwede kang magrequest via 171, pero pahirapan ata ngayon. Hindi mo naman sila pwedeng pilitin dahil they are not obliged to give you a public IP, lalo an kung nasa residential plan ka lang.

For Enterprise or Business (SME/MSME) plans naman, they have the privelege to "avail" a static IPv4 address, meaning wala silang kaagaw at solong-solo nila ang iisang IPv4 address na yun, which is good for businesses, companies, schools, and the likes. I emphasized the word "avail", kasi hindi libre yan.

Now, back to the Port Forwarding. Pag hindi, then no choice ka, but to upgrade to Enterprise plan.

Ang alam kong pinakamurang Mikrotik router is nasa 2k-3k ata. Try mo kung badly need mo talaga.

Thanks bro. This is so informative.

Yan kasi ginawa kong rason dati eh.

paps matanong ko lang kung okay lang ang SeedBox sa public trackers ? may gusto akong suportahan na archive eh. kaso di kaya ng storage ko as of now
