Matagal-tagal ko talagang pinagisipan kung paano na BLOCK ang sim ko from using Proxies, VPN, and etc. Half of the year na akong nagsusurf na hindi nabblock ang sim ko using SMART BUDDY. Now, nung pinansak ko ang BLOCKED SIM ng kapitbahay ko (that time, wala akong idea about BLOCKED SIM) sa SMART BRO MODEM/DEVICE ko, doon na nangyari ang NIGHTMARE ko! ayon kay sir wenz609:

dagdag ko na rin to for smart users

pag di kana mka konek sa dashboard na ddetect ni smart ang IMEI ng modem mo kasama ang sim.
ngayon, salpak mo ang sim na hindi block sa modem. konek mo ang modem.
check ang IP via cmd. kung 10.2xx sya. dapat 10.2xx kasi di pa na block di ba?
disconnect modem. salpak mo ulit ang block sim then connect. tingnan mo ang IP 10.2xx na ulit.

If yung sim is detected by SMART, then kapag ipinansak mo ito sa ibang MODEM(SMARTBRO), ireregister ng BLOCKED SIM ang IMEI ng modem mo sa SMART kaya ang IMEI ng modem mo is blocked at kahit magpapansak ka ng new sim or unblocked sim sa MODEM mo ay balewala na rin kc registered na IMEI mo dahil sa BLOCKED SIM kaya detected ka. Dahilan ng pag block sa sim is SMART services na yung NAMOMONITOR ng smart ang sim mo. Ayon kay sir earl22online:

TIP ko lang po sa ibang mga smart users na nablocked na ang sim sa smart....DALAWA po ang klase ng pagbablock ni smart sa mga smart sim natin:

1.) Blocked ang smart sim kapag di ka makaconnect sa dashboard palang, maaunblock ang sim sa pamamagitan lang ng pagload (kung check operator kayo) o pagpasaload ng 2 pesos at pagsend ng: 3G ON to 211. (pinaka-safe gamitin to unblock your smart sim.)

2.) Blocked ang smart sim kapag di ka makaconnect sa dashboard palang, maaunblock ang sim sa pamamagitan lang ng pagload (kung check operator kayo) o pagpasaload ng 2 pesos at pagsend ng: ROAM OFF to 333. (mabilis makapag-unblock ng smart sim, but determined not safe to use, check my explanation below.)

NOTE: Ung 1st method sa taas ay ang pinaka-safe at mabisang pamamaraan ng pag-unblock ng smart sim....DAHIL kapag ginawa nyo ung 2nd method at nakapagsend na kayo ng ROAM OFF sa 333...shoot na yan kay smart dahil detected na ang sim mo sa tuwing kokonek sa dashboard kahit anong APN pa ang gamitin mo kaya madaling iblocked ni smart ang sim, minuto o wala pang isang oras blocked na ang sim dahil ang ROAM OFF command ang naging daan para sa smart na mas mamonitor nila ang connection ng sim na nablocked na dati...na obserbahan ko ito ng mapag-alaman ko na ang "ROAM ON send to 333" ay command para ma-activate ang feature ng roaming txt & call ng isang smart sim kapag pupunta ka sa abroad o ibang bansa, ung "ROAM OFF send to 333" ay para madeactivate ang smart sim mo sa roaming capability at maging local use lang dito sa ating bansa (Philippines). Kapag ginawa mo yan sa smart sim mo magiging real-time na ang pagmomonitor ni smart sa sim mo kasi nakatikim na ng ROAMING features ang sim mo.

TIP: Check nyo ung dashboard nyo, sa may tools>diagnostics>network status:

CS network registration: Registered
PS network registration: Registered
PS network attachment: Attached

kapag ganito ang nakalagay "Registration Denied" at "Not attached" shoot yan nablocked na sim nyo.

Good Tips for your Smart!

Sim: Buy a Sim kahit yung Php40. May 1 peso load na and 35 Free txt to all network.

Setting your Load to No Expiry: When you buy sim, iregister mo agad ang WALLET to 7532.

Tips: (optional) Hindi ako nagbabalance inquiry from the day I bought the Sim.

Sending text solution: Call customer service and tell them you cannot send text . Dont say you are using VPN. and they will activate your sim

Unblock Sim (3 Steps):
*Be sure you have at least 2 pesos load*
1. Type YES and send to 211.
2. After receiving message, Type OFF and send to 211.
3. Plug out and in device/modem/dongle to reboot (For CP, turn off and on to reboot).

Logic:
Smart Buddy Sim is solely used for cellphones --- which enables the use of limited or simple applications such as facebook, ym, and browsing only unlike when you use smart buddy sim in your VPN wherein downloading large files are possible. However, this usage --- also enables the Smart telecom to detect and block your sim card since it's obvious that it already exceeds the basic applications (above the limit).

Anti-Block: Anonymizers or Hide IP address might help you to be on almost unblockable state. I prefer to use Usurf than VPN as of my experience. VPN has much speed than USurf but VPN is much likely vulnerable than USurf.

Tips: For you to be able to unblock your sim, you must receive an activation or sim service changes. If not then it won't work. Try the 3 steps that I wrote.

Mix It Up: Mabagal ba unblock ni ROAM OFF? After texting ROAM OFF to 333, use "4 Steps". It might help at baka mabilis magsawa si SMART sa kakablock. Repeat process kung matigas pa rin si SMART or give a minute/s of rest after the tricks then plug out and in (CP?, reboot).

100% working and 100% unblocking (100% success sa akin):
1. Clean unistall Smartbro Dashboard and reinstall then reboot.
2. Reinstall dashboard. Reboot.
3 .Use your smartbro sim and register ka sa UNLISURF services (balik sa dati, walang vpn or ano. Use mo ito sa mahabang panahon). Kapag expired na, try mo balik si smart buddy. Then try mo connect hanggang sa magsawa ka. *di ko alam kung bakit, basta nagwork 100% unblock ito sa akin. Magastos nga pero ok lang*.

ReFormat (NEW! Tested): Reformat may help removing registries and data managements that cause blocking. 89% people (my statistics from my research) proved and had done it but it is at your own risk if you like to do it this way.

The Sim Reset(NEW!):
I observe that the function of dialing *99#, using SmartBuddy sim, change its function and the cause that you cannot connect. (maybe)
Defaulting the sim or resetting might help.
Here are the steps on how to reset the sim:
1. Obtain a USB SIM card reader. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card reader's slot.
2. Connect the SIM card reader using the corresponding USB cable, and plug it into an available USB port in your computer.
3. Launch the SIM card reader program if it does not launch automatically.
4. If necessary, obtain the driver that corresponds to the SIM card reader's program, install it in your computer and follow the installation wizard until it is finished.
5. The corresponding driver for your SIM card reader should come in a CD format when you purchase the device. If not, you may also download the driver for the specific SIM card reader through the manufacturer's webpage. Recognize the driver by its name and file extension, ending with ".exe." For example: "sim_card_driver.exe" for Windows, or a folder ending with ".dmg" for Macs.
6. View the contents of the SIM card reader program. A user interface window should display with menu options to manage the contents. Locate a "Reset" button within the application's menu. Access the "Help" menu, if necessary, and search for a "Reset" feature.
7. View the contents of each section (Phonebook, Messages, Call logs or other), select all, right-click on the selection and choose "Delete."

Info: I currently use my old smart sim and works like a charm and still not block. You can try it too and luck might come into you.

Warnings: I do not recommended users to buy new device and sim.

yung IMEI kasi ng broadband mo is probably detected so kahit new sim ay possible na mablock..
sa pinging naman niyan, sa palagay ko, not really. try mo nlang kunin yung mga provided pinger ng ginagamit mong VPN,USURF or etc. Marami dito sir or try mo: windows key+r (Run Diag yung aappear) then type in CMD then ok. tapos sa CMD (meron C:\Users\...> right?) type mo ipconfig.. search mo yung ipv4 address (if Win7) or IP Address (WINXP) then copy mo yung IP (example: 123.456.789.123) na nakadisplay.. and windows+R type in ping "yung IP" -t then hit OK after that wag mo iclose yung diag na aappear kasi pinger yun..

sken tgal ko n gmit sim ko .. ewan ko ba kung pano nag umpisa m block ung sim ko !!

hahaha, sayang.. na a-unblock ang sim kapag nagtxt ka sa mga services. inaallow mo yung service na maging active sim mo.. kaso nga lang, sa palagay ko gaya ng sabi ng iba bout sa ROAMING, not so safe ito kasi monitored by smart. kaya mapapansin niyo na kung magttxt kayo ng ROAM OFF, ang reply is from SMART as in "SMART" talaga.. kaya big chance na mablock ulit in a second, minute, hour or day! swerte naman yung iba na pinagsawaan ng smart sa kakablock..

yung sim ko mga mag 1 year pa lang nung nabili ko hanggang ngayon hindi pa ako na kakaranas ma block ng sim.......

ayos po yan, undetectedpa.. sa wallet is not really na makaconnect ka kahit walang load.. it depends sa event.. but it only sets your load to no expiry.. sa akin naman.. dumaan muna sim ko sa CP bago sa MODEM tulad sa iyo pero no cuttings.. i was using it just for contacts

so far, wala pang bago eh.. ako, dahil nakapagROAM OFF na rin ako, ginagawa ko is 100x ko cnsend ang message then wait a couple of minutes before connect. ayun, effective naman. reason dahil 100x ko snend is naiinis lang talga ako sa block na minsan di ako makaconnect agad after sending one message to 333.. hehehehe

di po ako kawawa sir dahil gamit ko po globe ngayun nagtatanong po ako kung nabablock pa rin po ba ang unblock na smart sim kapag nagdownload din po kayo,kaya po ako nagtatanong kasi dating smart gamit ko nabablock agad if magdl ako.

(upto 45 to 50 mins ang blocking)

wag na hayaang ma block = disconnect and connect after 30 mins..
= habang ginagawa ng paulit-uilt, tumatagal din ang blocking time..
= kaya ngayon wala ng blocking si smartricks sakin..



ganun ba yun? or hindi na nga ba nag-ba-block ng sim smartricks?
