ah ganun po ba, Thank you po. For now stuck parin po kasi kame sa globe till OCTOBER if I remember correctly (lock in period) niwe-weigh ko na tlga ung pros and cons kung lilipat man ako sa PLDT (another lock in and etc)

long story short, Wala talagang maayos na serbisyo sa Pinas.

Kung gusto mo bridge talaga, kelangan mong pa-set kay PLDT. Pero kung ang gusto mo ay wifi extender or repeater lang, maraming tutorials sa YouTube.

naman nagbabayad ka kaya sir - pag siningil ka - bawal yun - ikaw customer eh - binabayaran mo sila with their service na ma resolve yung problema mo pertaining sa device na ginagamit mo from pldt. May problema sa device nila eh - hindi ka makapag bridge mode - so sila ang solusyon sa problema mo

hello po, magpapakabit po kame ng PLDT FIBR, na submit na lahat ng requirements at tomorrow na po kame kakabitan.

ask ko lang po kung baka sakaling may tips po kayo na dapat kong malaman or questions na maari kong itanong sa mag kakabit, kasi po first time ko palang po gumamit ng PLDT, I've been a globe postpaid subscriber for more than 4 years so wala po akong gaanong alam sa PLDT FIBR.

at meron po kasi akong nabalitaan na may bagong POLICY ang PLDT na hindi mo na pwedeng ma-access you WEB UI ng PLDT modem?
Kung totoo po iyon, Ano pong PROS and CONS nun? paano ko po mapapalitan ung WIFI SSID at password sa wireless connection?

Take your time to read if wala kang maintindihan - go to the 2nd link that i gave you below and ask some help on discord na nilagay ko na yung link ko sa thread ko. This will be applicable yung mga pinagsasabi ko on the white modem fiberhome onu makikita mo yun sa thread ko din hehe

You can change your wifi password naman at nahihingi ito - hingi ka lang ng "admin" account sa technician when nagiinstall sila - and the admin account ang access lang nyan is the basic settings lang like setup wifi - and changing wifi password ganun lang hehe

Yes merong policy si pldt about dito sa adminpldt account na may advanced settings d gaya ni "admin" account na may basic settings lang, upon PLDT you need to sign WAIVER para mabigyan kang adminpldt access where ADMINPLDT has advanced settings like portforwarding, dmz, etc na maiisip mong pwedeng gawin at possible gawin sa modem mo except bridge mode - to follow for more info about bridge mode but for the waiver please see here ->https://pldthome.com/docs/default-source/supportdownload/forms_acceptance-of-liability-waiver.pdf

But may way para maaccess si adminpldt without signing a waiver kung hindi ka sangayon don sa binasa mo sa link kanina - https://www.mobilarian.com/showthread.php?t=1471749&page=51&p=23771737 please see this thread for credentials and how to log in using adminpldt. By using this, yung settings na mababago mo sa modem while using adminpldt is only temporary - mawawala lang yung mga binago mong settings sa modem pag nirestart or pinatay at binuksan mo si modem ng pldt fibr.

For this tips, bridging your router to your modem can be done naman using adminpldt account/credential LANG but 50/50 may mga chances na bababa yung bandwidth speed na nakukuha mo or hindi.
Example: 20mbps ka pero nag bridge mode ka at nagulat ka na bumaba yung download speed mo from 20mbps to 10mbps. Kadalasan ganito nangyayari but this will happen if your modem is FIBERHOME hindi HUWAEI

Another tip, may mga cases na naka CGNAT ang connection mo (google nalang for more info sir on how CGNAT connection works). How to trace if naka cgnat ka - search on google sir and use tracert command sa command prompt po may tutorial po sa youtube on determining cgnat connection ka ba or hindi. Patanggal mo to panget to lalo na't pag mag poportforward ka

Another tip ulit, may mga cases na hindi magkakitaan yung LAN DEVICES mo and WIRELES DEVICES mo or vice versa. We call it Network Isolation where - yung sa LAN DEVICES eh naka isolate siya at hindi siya discoverable within your local network po. Example on this is - when your printer is connected via wireless connection and your desktop computer is connected via wired connection (LAN CABLE) tas gusto mo mag print on your printer na nakaconnect sa wireless connection (WIFI) hindi sila magkakakitaan kasi naka enable si Network Isolation.
For this patangal mo sa PLDT technician na mag iinstall ng modem mo. How to find out kapag naka network isolation yung network mo? Try to ping your smartphone device na nakaconnect sa modem mo using CMD PROMPT on windows 10. Example: I use command prompt on my windows 10 computer to ping my smartphone-android. if nakita wala kang network isolation okay yan - pag hindi yan makita patangal mo den panget yan. This is only possible for FIBERHOME Modems.

Kung meron pa ko idadagdag magrereply ako hehe so far eto muna ang mga issues na naranasan ko sa pldt fibr if may tanong ka punta ka sa 2nd link na binigay ko sayo sa taas- then find discord link and ask some help there thanks

Ang sabi sa amen within 24 hrs makakabitan na kame, pero I forgot na nasa PINAS nga pala ako xD
Hindi pa po kame nakakabitan baka tom Monday or Tuesday pa ata sabi sa akin ng agent.

sa tingin ko po hindi ko naman po need ng bridge mode, need ko lang tlga ng Usable na internet mapa Browse, Stream or Gaming.

Sa pagkakaalam ko walang data cap yung mga Fiber Plans ng PLDT unlike sa DSL .. hindi rin lang ako masyadong sigurado ..

Check mo sa PLDT Home Fibr Web site yung mga plans.

Kung gusto mo'y walang data cap, i-indicate mo sa application form yung UNLI para sure. Noon (not sure kung available pa ngayon) kasi may mga so-called Speed Plans na mas malaking bandwidth pero may monthly volume cap.

yung device mo is not compatible to connect with 5g connection
