Regular unleaded and XCS

Hi.

May tanong ako. Ano ang pagkakaiba ng regular unleaded (Petron Xtra Advance) sa Petron XCS? Maganda daw kasi ang hatak kapag XCS.

Pwede ko bang kargahan ng XCS yung auto ko? Nasanay kasi ako sa puro regular unleaded ang karga, mula sa dating auto ko w/c is 99 Civic sedan.

Gamit ko ngayon is Toyota Avanza 1.5G.

Ang pagkakaiba lang naman nila ay octane rating. Octane rating is a measure of a fuel's ability to resist knock. Usually the cheapest gasoline will have an 87 octane rating while the more expensive blaze is rated at 100. Check your owner's manual for the recommended fuel octane rating. Usually for an economy car the manufacturer will recommend 87 or 88 fuel. So if you fill up with a higher octane rating then you'll just be wasting money unless your car is modified. But if you experience knock (tope) then you can try the next level of gasoline.

2012 up model can use XCS gasoline 91-octane rating, mas malakas ang hatak.. mas makakatipid ka kung gagamitin mo ang XCS sa malalayong byahe.. kung within city lang sa unleaded ka na lang TS... ma-e-enjoy mo ang XCS sa long-ride

According sa manual ko, unleaded gasoline 90 and above daw ang pwede.

Ngayon ko lang nadiskubre na 93 daw ang octane rating ng Xtra Advance. Yung XCS is 95. Base sa website ng Petron.

Another questions:
-Unleaded na ba talaga lahat ng gasolina sa Pilipinas?
-Kung oo, pwede ko na bang haluan na ng XCS yung auto ko? Nagpakarga pa kasi ako ng Xtra Advance worth 500pesos. Or ubusin ko muna?

All gasoline nowadays are unleaded as required by law. Yes you can mix different fuels together because after a few fill ups, the old fuel would've been used up already. You should be fine with 93 octane if your manual states that but there's no harm try 95 but just make sure you'll really feel a difference and not placebo otherwise you'll just be spending more with no real benefits.

Saan malakas ang hatak ... Unleaded with 91 octane or 93 octane... Fuel injector na kasi mc ko

Mas maataas po na octane mas malakas po ang hatag ng makina.. mas malinis at mas matipid.
