Hello guys i am here to present you a way to root
samsung galaxy grand duos !!!
You can also see video tutorial made by adityaf here
If first video is not clear watch this one
All you have to do is follow my instructions :
STEP 1 :
-Download and setup ADB drivers for your device
can be found here Click me !
STEP 2 :
-Download the recovery from here ---> Click me !
-Download odin 3 from attachement below !
-Turn of your device and go to odin mode [ Vol down +
power + home button (all at the same time) ] release it
when you see GT-i9082 logo
-Press vol up to confirm
STEP 3 :
-Now that you are in odin mode connect your device
via usb cable !
-Now open Odin3 3.04 that you have downloaded from
the attachement !
-If there is a pop-up like Installing ADB drivers let it
get finished it is usually updates !!!!
It should look like this
-Make sure the COM : xx (xx is usb port number it can
be any number so dont worry about it,just verify COM
is lit up)
-Extract the CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.zip ! Now
select PDA and browse to where you have extracteded
CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.md5 and select it
it should look like this
STEP 4 :
-Click Start
Now you have a cwm touch recovery !!!!
If any one is getting md5 hash value failed while
flashing rename "CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.md5 to
""CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar" (remove the .md5) and
then flash it !
HOW TO ROOT THE DEVICE :
-Download SuperSu (obviously the latest one) from
here ------> Click me !
-Copy that to externel sdcard (NOT INTERNAL ! )
-Power off your device and press vol up + power +
home button (all at once)
-Select install zip from sdcard --->choose zip from
sdcard ---> scroll down and select UPDATE-SuperSU-
v1.05.zip
Done ! And you are ready to go

Take Screenshots Using Hardware Keys

Method 1.
All you have to do is to press and hold the
Home+Power buttons at the same time for about 2
seconds. You will hear a camera click sound and a
white outline flash round the screen edges. It
indicates that the screenshot has been taken.

Method 2: Take Screenshots Using Palm Motion
There is yet another method that you use to take a
screenshot on your Samsung Galaxy phone. It will
work only if you have “Motion” options under phone
settings. Go to Settings> Motion and enable it by
tapping the slider in front of the option. Now tap on
“Motion” text to see other motion/gesture related
options. Make sure that “Palm Swipe to Capture”
option is checked. If not, check it.
Having enabled Motion> Palm Swipe to Capture
option, you will be able to take a screenshot by
swiping your palm/side of your hand from right
edge of the screen to the left or vice versa.

Ganito ung ginawa ko kasi working ung ext2int ni k2wl... inextract ko ung add ons na may lamang gallery at ext2int... eto lang ung kunin nyo after extracting EXT2INT.APK AT 11EXTSD2INTERNALSD
First install nyo ung apk then open nyo ung root browser copy nyo ung 11EXTSD2INTERNALSD SA

ETC => INIT.D => 11EXTSD2INTERNALSD
DONE

Ok na ok sir. Lalo na sensor motion, naalala nyo features ng S3 na may smart eye, magooff phone once tulog ka na. Meron din to mga sirs.

Another plus factors is supported nya ang S pen ng Note2.

In short, eto daw ung pinagsamang Note2 and S3.

tested and walang bang conflict yang 4.2 camera and gallery ? Ano exact steps to flash the camera and clock, sure ka sir walang conflict, natry mo na ba sa grand mo?

Mukhang marami nakaencountered ng problem sa camera and gallery, diko na muna try, contento pa naman ako sa stock gallery and camera ko.

Wait ko na lang official release, for sure this 2Q lalabas na yang 4.2.2.

walang bugs or FC's sir .. sa photosphere lang hindi kaya more than 5 shots ..

pero working fine lahat and di hamak na mas mabilis ..

then flash using CWM
