tanong lang po naka custom rom po kasi ako CM7(tj_style) gusto ko sana magpalit ng iba custom rom... kelangan ko ba ibalik sa stock rom bago ako magpalit ng iba custom rom or pede na flash agad sa iba custom rom from CM7? tapos anu ba maganda custom rom aside sa CM7? hindi kasi ako makaconnect sa internet pag CM7 gamit ko rom... pasagot naman poh... thanks!!!

Step by Step Flashing Procedures on Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 with a Single - One Packed stock ROM.
This below procedure covers only for a single packed firmware and only associated with the OPS file, and there's no files such as for BOOT, PDA, PHONE and CSC file.


1) Extract or unzip/unrar the downloaded firmware.

2) Run Odin multi-downloader v4.38 tool.

3) Load the OPS and the Single Packed stock ROM
- Click on the OPS button then select and load the TASS.OPS file.
- Check the ONE PACKAGE checkbox. Ensure that the Auto Reboot and Protect OPS are also
checked.
- Click on the One Packaged button then select and load the firmware packaged.

4) Re-boot the Samsung Galaxy Mini into Download Mode: Turn it Off then Press and hold the ( Volume Down + OK + Power )

5) Connect the phone to PC, after you see that the device is already set in downloading mode.
The COM:PORT mapping will show you a yellow indication if the device is already detected.
- then hit the "START" button to begin flashing the firmware.

6) Wait for a while and do not touch anything until the program will finish the downloading process. It just takes around a 2-5 minutes to complete depending on your computer speed. A word "PASS" will display on the left side square if the flashing successfully completes.

Always remember before flashing using ODIN4.38, perform a wiping data/cache via recovery mode to avoid BOOTLOOPING.

Save all your contacts & other files into your SD card & remove it before wiping.

bos na try ko na po to...still encounter the same error po....Fatal : cannot allocate tun/tap dynamically...checked ko naman po yung tun .ko ko nasa tamang path nman po....

para sa mga na brick na samsung galaxy mini may chance pa na maayus yan basta nababasa pa ng computer gawin lang to:

1.- Remove both the SIM card and de microSD card.
2.- KEEP YOUR BATTERY REMOVED
3.- Apply the Download-mode button combination (known by you all)
4.- WHILE HOLDING THE COMBINATION, insert the battery, and keep the buttons pressed untill you get the download mode.
5.- Flash your phone with a valid firmware through Odin (Preferebly, have Odin prepared before doing this trick)

mga sir nakapag upgrade na ako mula sa froyo to ginger bread via samsung kies it takes almost 1 hour to complete the upgrade and still rooted ang phone ko niroot ko kase sya nung froyo palang using super one click

Feedbacks sa latest STOCK ROM na gamit ko ngayon S5570XWKS2 Gingerbread 2.3.5 (Official Europe):

- Battery life improves but others says it's fast draining
- Much more faster in speed performance
- Scrolling is much smoother
- Wi-fi speed increase
- Others like camera and audio nothing change



Here's the guide with Odin screenshot on how to install the S5570XWKS2 Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread on Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570. If you will download the file and after extracted it, you can view two files - the APBOOT and PDA.You also need the TASS.OPS file and Odin here.

Note: Just make sure that your Galaxy mini is absolute/fully charged, this is a little bit risky process since we are flashing a new bootloader here, once if the flashing fails it might brick your device, so proceed at your own risk.

Now in Odin you just in-place each files to its designated slots in Odin.
- on the OPS button is the tass.ops
- the Boot button is the APBOOT_S5570XWKS2_CL584844_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5
- the PDA button is the CODE_S5570XWKS2_CL584844_REV02_user_low_true.tar.md5

Once all desired file already loaded on Odin, set the Galaxy Mini in download mode ( Volume Down + OK + Power ) then connect the phone to PC. Once detected by Odin just hit the "START" button. then wait until the flashing process completes. Then do a factory reset (*#*#7780#*#*).

Ka symb help nag reset kasi aq ng factory settings ng mini ko.. Bigla nalang po xa di na sya nag rorotate ng maayos pag off po ang auto rotate.diba portrait display nea.. ee pag na ON ko po lagi nalang po naka landscape yung display nya pag na open ko ang settings, gallery.. at etc.... na sira ata**? btw di pa po aq nag update... pag ng update aq ma aayos kaya to?
