SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE OFFICIAL THREAD (gt-N7000)

Very happy with criskelo rom. Kingdroid una kong na try na custom rom pero mas maganda talaga criskelo.napapangitanlang ako sa theme so i flashed kingdroids blue theme.

Daily normal use
Txt n calls
Some games
Some wifi
Music omw home (manila to cavite)
Pag uwi ko sa bahay 70% pa sya

Tanong ko lang sa mga master natin dito, pano ba magreset ng odin ciounter? safe ba gumamit ng triangle away? Ang haba kasi ng warning ni chainfire e haha. Just for warranty purposes lang naman.

I rooted my note kasi by flashing a rooted kernel (abyss w/ cwm touch) using odin. Kaya my 1 odin count ako. Gusto ko sana maging 0 if ever magpapa warranty ako sa samsung...

Triangle away nlng. Root method ko dati zerg rush kaya d pa nadagdagan counter ko :)

bought this phone kasi on ver 2.3.6 in which zerg rush method didnt work. helions with blue flames daw haha!

tested na po ba triangle away? is it safe? thanks po mga fafa!

Pde ka rin mag downgrade tapos mag zerg rush. Pero parang mas hassle yun.
 
may nka pag jellybeans na ba dito?

nakita ko kasi ang bilis..

ics official na ni-root pa lang current ko.. ;)

wla pang jellybean, kahit sa xda wla pang nkkgwa ng rom na 4.1 sa note. hintay hintay tyo magkakaroon dn. :D
 
for sure meron sa inyo meron black clipping issue sa mga galaxy note ninyo kagaya ko kapag nag pplay ng movie .mkv .avi pag black scenes e parang nag pipixilated kagaya nito,

meron ako nabasa sa xda na para sakin nawala, pero d ko alam sa iba kung gagana.

ang setting nung sakin sa screen adjuster app. na libre sa playstore is +3 red -55 contrast. ung contrast pde nio iadjust yan kung ano sa tingin nyo angkop pra mawala ung black clipping.
and ginagamit ko mobo player.

ang side effect lang niya is mjo magiging grey ung black pero close to black pa din naman, mas gugustuhin ko ng maging dark grey kesa maging choppy ung pagiging black imagine manonood ka ng dark scene movies like house of wax, nkakaasar ung black pag choppy. eto ung nkta kong temporary fix pra mawala yun.


note: para lang to sa mga meron galaxy note na nkaka experience pag nanonood ng movies na meron black clipping. maswerte kayong mga walang ganitong problema sa note. :P

a. inilagay ko sa extternal sd card ang tempory CWM (touch version)
inilagay ko sa internal card ang SU-Busybox-Installer
inilagay ko ang stock rom na N7000JPJK4 2.3.5 sa internal sd card
inextract ko yung CF-Root-SGN_XX_XEN_KJ4-v5.0-CWM5.zip, at inilagay ko sa internal card yung "zimage"
b. galing ako sa Chrack custom rom nagflash ako ng ICS N7000LQ2 stock rom gamit ang PC Odin
c. Off ko phone den reboot on recovery
* choose zip from external card
* select CWM den install
* choose zip from card
* select SU-Busybox-Installer den istall
at rooted na ICS stock rom nakita ko na may SuperUser application
d. install ko yung Mobile Odin Pro (dapat naka online para maupdate ang mga add ons)
* open file
* select internal card and choose N7000JPJK4 2.3.5
i check all ; Enable Ever Root, Inject superuser & Inject Mobile Odin
* Flash firmware or file
at wait hanggang magreboot at rooted na ang GB stock rom, nakita ko na may Superuser at mobile Odin application
(kung nag FC pwede mong ireboot at factory reset at wiche cache)
e. eto ang last para mainstall ko yung CWM (permanent)
* open ang Mobile Odin, open file from internal card at select 'zimage" then flash - at nakita ko na sa app file na may Superuser at CWM app na ako at pwede na akong magflash ulit ng custom rom

siguro naman ay mas maliwanag eto sa iyo

sir romy, sensya ngayon lang ako nakareply, na root ko na po gamit tutorial ni Ash(cursed4eva) sa youtube.. parang direct root na din eto po oh, http://www.youtube.com/watch?src_vi...ro&annotation_id=annotation_103110&feature=iv
kaso hiwalay tutorial niya ng CWM, ang way niya e mag install ng abyss kernel then ayun na may custom recovery na.. oks ba to?
tsaka pwede ba ang ICS Roms sa rooted Stock GB? o GB Roms lang din like checkRom and RocketRom?

la bang issue paps nag downgrade? kasi diba sa symbian or sa psp bawal ang downgrade? sa android ba ok lang ba?

dami tenkyu dito paps. tama ka, may issue nga ang super amoled ng galaxy note when playing movies. lalo kapag hindi HD yung vid.

pwede kahit alin sundin mo lang yung installation procedure ng bawat custom rom, at mapapansin mo na halos lahat ay nagsisimula sa GB rom kung kailangan mo ay ICS custom rom

effective to. just tested it awhile ago! nawala talaga haha! ang prob lang parang bumagal phone ko. dunno if it was the screen adjuster causing the issue...running criskelo rom latest and abyss kernel

sino mo may link ng speedmod kernel? gusto ko sana try e. thanks NOTERS!

you're welcome sir, bumabagal ba? sakin kc hndi naman, enable mo nalang yung screen adjuster app pag manonood ka movie pag hndi na disable mo. speedmod kernel maganda sa mga stock ics roms may bagong version speedmod k3-5 eto link

@Welbogz wala naman. D tulad sa symbian na delikado mag downgrade. Pagbagal ng phone mo dahil yan sa screen adjuster. Ramdam mo yan lalo na pag mag quadrant ka. Black clipping lang talaga kaisa isang issue para sa akin sa note. Pero minsan lang nman nakikita kaya d siya ganon kalaking issue para sa akin. Sa xda ka nlng kumuha ng speedmod. Criselov7 at speedmod k3-3 ako ngayon. Natatamad lang ako mag dl ng v8 kaya sa v7 na muna ako, wala namang masyadong nadagdag sa v8 :D
 
Guys paano malalaman kung nasa stock kernel ako?

Im using Galaxy Note N7000 official 4.0.3

ano ang top 10 essential apps para sa rooted/stock note natin? and pano makakadownload ng paid app na free directly from our phone?

yan sir stock na stock kernel na gamit mo.

pero yan yung kernel na snsbi nila na danger/delikado sa xda na nag cacause ng brick. wag ka mag fafactory reset gamit yang kernel na yan. kung ako syo mag flash ka ng safe kernel like speedmod kernel / fransisco kernel / goku kernel. pero speedmod kernel pnaka maganda. :D
