Sir pa help po. naginstall po ako ng CWm then ung kernel din po tapos ngaun po ayaw na mag open hanngang samsung lng. pano gagawin ko dito? thanks po 4.0.4 po ako balak ko po sana mag install ng omni rom. di ko din po pala nalagay ung omni rom. May other way pa po ba para mag flash ng rom?

May card reader ka ba para maka pag transfer ka ng files? If wala anong specific na files meron ka? Like Anong ROM, Kernel, etc. And anong kernel ang na flash mo?

I prefer mag DirtyUnicorn ka na lang kesa sa OmniROM.

How to Install KitKat ROMs;
- Go to recovery
- Flash Raw Kernel r4
- Go to Advance then Reboot to Recovery (Not reboot system)
- Now you are on Raw Kernel CWM
- Wipe Factory Reset/Data
- Go to Mounts and Storage and Wipe the ff; Cache, System and Data
- Go back then Go to Advance and Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Go back then Install KitKat ROM
- Then Install PA Gapps
- Then Reboot System
- This would take around 5-10 mins on Bootanimation so be patient.
- After go to Settings - SuperSU - Wait for pop up for you to install binary backup then click yes.
- Done. (I prefer you reboot after 2-3 mins after your phone boots up.)

To go back to a TW ROM;
- Go to recovery
- Install Philz Kernel
- Reboot to Recovery (Not Reboot System)
- Now you are on new UI for Philz Kernel CWM
- Wipe Data/Factory Reset
- Go to Mounts and Storage and wipe the ff; Cache, System, Data and Preload
- Go back then Go to Advance and Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Go back then Install TW ROM
- Reboot System
- Would take longer than any CM11 or AOSP rom so be patient.

Gagamit ka ng stock rom? If so yes .tar dapat na file ang gamitin mo pero hanap ka ng LT5 na kernel. Dapat same sila ng ROM mo. Kung wala pwede din yung LTA.

so far ang alam ko im under jellybean since android 4.1.2 ver siya, tama ba?

i've done a bit of research and reading so eto understanding ko..

if i wanted to change the ROM/ Firmware i could use the zip file na AryaMOD (I prefer v7 over v8 as I find v8 laggy when connected to the internet, but you can try it if you want it to.) or the one your using the liquidsmooth which i read good reviews.

pero before i could do that i need to download the Philz Kernel na zip file din to flash it,tama po ba?pero ano yun tamang ver i download ko dahil ang dami dun.yun latest version ba philz_touch_6.07.9-n7000.zip?

do i need to change the kernel pa ba?or ok na gamit ko..the phone would be used for basics lang like games and net. minsan change theme lang.hehe maganda ba yun gui ng bb10?

careful din sa pag change ng settings.
- Ang pinaka iingatan mo lang is yung Kernel. Make sure naka Philz Kernel or Raw Kernel ka bago mo gawin yung Wipe Factory Reset/Data. Other than that pwede mo pa marecover yung phone mo using Odin + Stock ROM. So make sure may backup ka ng Odin and .tar na stock rom. May experience na ako na yung phone is na stuck sa Galaxy Note Logo tapos ayaw pumunta sa CWM pero working yung Download Mode. So ang need mo lang gawin is flash Stock ROM using Odin.

- Just make sure na your using the right kernel. Pag mag flash ka ng TW (Touchwiz based) ROM dapat naka Philz Kernel ka. Pag mag flash ka ng KitKat ROM dapat naka RAW Kernel r4 ka. "HOW: Reboot to recovery, Install Philz or Raw Kernel, Reboot to recovery, now nasa safe kernel ka na to wipe and install roms"

- For flashing purposes eto gamit ko. LT6 http://d-h.st/users/philz_touch/?fld_id=17705#files Pag nag flash ka naman ng Custom Kernel may maayos na kernel ng kasama yun. Pero pwede ka rin mag try ng iba if gusto mo.

- For stock rom? If stock then nop ok na yung by default. For custom nop din unless gusto mo mag modify ng speed.

- Hindi ko gets... Yung Lockscreen ba yan? If so nope for me.

- Yep! Just make sure na nasa tamang kernel ka and follow mo instruction on how to flash.

Pag TW Based lahat ng 4.1.2 na may LTA, LT5, LT4, LT6 and so on sa Thread nila. Pag KitKat based on 4.4.4 na AOSP, AOPK, CM11 etc.

Download and install KIES. Saka mo e saksak yung cable para ma install yung drivers. If may wifi ka mag install ka na lang ng app na Wifi File Transfer para hindi ka na mag cable.

My preferred rom's;
For TouchWiz JB Rom
- Galactus ROM (Fluid and I love the AOSP lockscreen. Never ad any problem with this rom)
- AryaMOD v7 (I prefer v7 or v8 as I have some hiccups with v8 when connected to wifi though you can try the v8 first. Maybe it's due to my rom settings.)
- Sweet ROM + COH Kernel (If you feel that the kernel comes with the rom is laggy)

For KitKat ROM. (I'm using PA GApps. You can check my Sig for links.)
- CyannogenMOD CM11 (Good Battery Life unlike the old version CM10.3)
- DirtyUnicorn (Always updating and they release test build almost everyday if you want to install it.)
- LiquidSmooth (This has some hangups or maybe due to my mods but still loving it due to more buttons you can use for On Screen Navigation Buttons. I need to save my hardware ware buttons so they won't wear off easily.)

Anong rom yan? Well the reason is the kernel. Hindi kasi nilabas ni Samsung yung buong sources ng kernel nila kaya mas malakas kumain ng battery pag hindi TW based rom ang gamit mo. Pero for me mas malakas lang naman ng 1% yung Kitkat based rom compared to TW.

Kung may problem ka sa standy mag install ka ng BetterBatteryStats or WakelockDetector para makita mo kung anong apps yung nag rrun sa background then pwede ka pumunta sa settings hanapin mo yung Privacy Guard or Permissions tapos pwede mo e off yung Keep awake. Pag Privacy Guard e long press mo yung app na gagalawin mo, pag Permissions tap lang.

For example, yung isang app na laging nag ddrain sakin is yung Google+ na app, pag nag install ka ng BetterBatteryStats makikita mo dun nag rrun sa background yung FingerScanning na may G+ na logo. Yung FingerScanning is yung camera for G+ so pupunta ka ng permission then look for G+ then off mo yung Camera also yung keep awake then reboot. So ngayon maski gamitin mo yung G+ pag natapos ka na hindi na mag rrun sa background yung FingerScanning.

nag-update ako ng rom from jb to KK 4.4.2. ang naging problema ko pagkaupdate nya lagi ako nawawalan ng signal. nagtry nako magpalit ng bang network like smart malakas naman signal nya. inilagay ko rin globe sim ko sa ibang phone malakas naman signal nya. tapos nagtry ako mag downgrade to JB ulit ganun parin nangyayari. ano po kaya problema. sa radio modem ba? ano po kelangan kong gawin? salamat sa sasagot.
