automatic na dapat yun.
if you're on CM, go to cyanogenmod settings --> application --> install location --> automatic
check mo na lang yung ext storage ng sd kung nababawasan.

sir, regarding dun sa flashing guide ni sir jayjay..
hanggang dun lang kasi ako sa D. Android 2.1 (Samdroid)

pag inupgrade ko ba sya sa 2.3 (Cyanogen), maeerase ba ulit lahat ng laman ng phone ko?

hmm... may mga bugs pa yung 2.3
basahin mo na lang muna yung thread ng 2.3 para alam mo yung status niya.
i suggest mag 2.2 ka muna.

yes, kailangan mo mag wipe ng data/cache pag 2.1 -> 2.2/2.3
pero yung installed apps mo sa ext ng sdcard, hindi mabubura.

another question po.. normal po ba na di nagaappear sa mycomputer yung ext ng sdcard pg nkaconnect sya? isa lang kasi nakikita ko, yung fat32.. pero napartition ko na siya dati..di ko lang nakikita yung extension.. tnx..

yes boss.
linux lang po makakabasa ng ext partition mo.
may mga software rin for windows na pwede i-install para makita mo yung ext sa sdcard mo.
paki google na lang.

@sir Hhubs: patulong po ulit.. if I understand correctly, rooted na ang phone ko.. kasi nga I follwed the instructions religiously dun sa flashing guide ni sir jayjay..

meron akong apps na kelangan ng root access.. for example root explorer.. pero everytime na inoopen ko sya, may prompt na lumalabas na ganito,

restart ko naman yung app, wala namang superuser prompt.. ilang beses ko tnry pero wala parin..then pagcheck ko sa superuser permissions, blank lang sya.. nakalagay "No apps in list"

is there a way para manually mabigyan ng superuser permissions yung mga apps?

and another thing.. meron din po akong terminal emulator..nakita ko kasi sa ibang forums i.e. samdroid, androidforums, droidforums, and xda-developers, na makikita mo dun kung rooted na yung phone mo.. na pag nagtype ka ng 'su' sa prompt na $, and pag bumalik sayo yung prompt na '#', is rooted na daw yung phone mo.. kaso ang bumabalik sakin is 'Permission denied'

need help po.. I don't know what's wrong.. nagsearch nako sa net pero wala ako ibang makitang solution.. thanks..

nagdownload ako kanina ng root checker..

eto result niya:

Root access is not properly configured or was not granted.

wahh.. pano yun? bakit ganun? fnollow ko nman ng maayos yung tutorial e.. ok naman lahat.. pano nangyaring ganun? any advice kung ano gagawin ko? im planning to redo the flashing.. pero may ichchange ba ako?

what do you guys think? thanks..

it's either luma na yung files na ginamit mo or nagkaproblema sa flashing (which i doubt).
try mo na lang po mag upgrade to CM 6.1.1

ang nagbibigay ng root yung unang step mo sa odin using LK2.08
bakit daw operation aborted? ano yung exact error?
baka corrupt yung file na nadownload mo?

kasama pati kernel.
hmm...
off mo muna yung phone mo tapos alisin mo yung battery for 20-30 secs
tapos subukan mo ulit. kung may md5 checker ka, dapat match yung md5 value nung nasa thread at yung actual file na nadl mo para sure na hindi corrupt.
yan din ginamit ko nung nag upgrade ako from 2.1 to 2.2

oo nga pala, gamitin mo yung pc mo pag nagdownload ka para iwas problema.

minsan kasi pag yung phone mo mismo yung gamit mo pang download, naco-corrupt yung file.
download mo na lang muna yung zip using your pc tapos transfer mo na lang sa sdcard.

sir, regarding po pala dun sa isa kong prob, ginamit ko yung root checker pra icheck kung rooted na yung phone..

ls: /system/xbin/su: No such file or directory

SU binary not found in the system declared PATH

ibig sabihin ba nito sir mali pagkaroot ko? ano magandang fix nito? tnx..
