The Samsung Gear VR is a mobile virtual reality headset developed by Samsung Electronics, in collaboration with Oculus, and manufactured by Samsung. The headset was released on 27 November 2015.

When in use, a compatible Samsung Galaxy device (Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6/S6 Edge/S6 Edge+, or Galaxy S7/S7 Edge) acts as the headset's display and processor, while the Gear VR unit itself acts as the controller, which contains the high field of view, as well as a custom inertial measurement unit, or IMU, for rotational tracking, which connects to the smartphone via micro-USB. This IMU is more accurate and well calibrated with lower latency than internal smartphone IMUs, such as those used for Google Cardboard.

The Gear VR headset also includes a touchpad and back button on the side, as well as a proximity sensor to detect when the headset is on. The touchpad and button allow for a standard minimum input capability for users to interact with the virtual environments, whereas Google Cardboard devices only feature a button.

The Gear VR was first announced in September 2014. To allow developers to create content for the Gear VR and to allow VR and technology enthusiasts to get early access to the technology, Samsung had released two innovator editions of the Gear VR before the consumer version.

How To By Pass Oculus Home
(Sa Samsung Gear VR, pag ka sinalpak mo ung Phone mo Automatic mag-oopen ung Oculus Home. Hindi Mo mabubuksan ung mga Games na Card Board VR Compatible. But, we have a way around it.) Pwede kayo mamili kung gusto niyo si Oculus or Kung gusto niyo sa CB. VIce Versa.​

Step 1. Download Sideload VR from Playstore then Install.
Step 2. From Sideload VR App. > Search for SideloadVRtestApp (or any other app) then install.
*Be sure to verify your phone signature (signature set-up verify)
Step 3. Enable Developer Option on your Gear VR Services
- Go to Settings > Application >Application Manager
- Select Gear VR Service
- Select Storage>Manage Storage
- Click on VR Service Version several times until the Developer Mode toggle shows up
- Toggle Developer Mode (*Ito po ay para palinawin ang resolution at iwasan ang motion blur, pwedeng hayaang
nakadeactivate)
Step 4. Install CB Enabler (Attached).
Step 5. From CB Enabler App, Click Card Board.
Step 6. Test it. (Pag nilagay niyo ung Phone niyo sa Gear, Di dapat mag-oopen si Oculus Home).
Step 7. Enjoy your Downloaded Games

Ung sakin kasi free nung binili ko ung S7 Edge, bundled na siya. Pero chineck ko cost niya sa net atleast 3K..

Meron, ung mga movie mo sa phone mo. Pag pinlay sa VR para kang nasa sinehan.. Maplaplay din ang 3d movies.. pati 360 videos..

TS, na try ko ung sa oculus tapos nag DL ako ng movies pero hindi sya full screen, yung app ba na yan eh fullscreen hindi ung katulad sa oculus na may cinema? thanks

Anu ung dinownload mong format ng dinownload mong movie? kung ung regular lang siya na movie or kahit 3D movie, sa Oculus at sa CB eh theater view lang siya. Pwede ka mamili doon sa viewing mode, meron doon ung void kung saan itim lahat ung surrounding tapos ung screen ay para paring sa cinehan.

Kung gusto mo ung tipong para kang nasa loob mismo ng movie. kailangan mo ng movie na 360.

Try mo muna ito Boss, feedback ka pag ganto ba hanap mo:
- Open Oculus App from your phones App Drawer
- search for samsung internet
- install
- Plug in your device in the Gear Vr

- In the URL, type in youtube and search for 360.

- choose the video clip you want, after choosing, on the lower right corner you'll see a broken square like image, click it.

Boss, ngayon ko lang nakita ung ganyang error pero try mo to if ever gumana.

Option 1
1) Install QuickShortcutMaker from the Play Store
2) Go to Applications and select Gear VR SetupWizardStub
3) Select App info --> Storage --> Clear Data
4) Go back twice and click Try to open the Gear VR Setup Wizard
5) Try again and it works

Option 2
Go to Settings - Apps - Application Manager - More - Show system apps - look for com.facebook.system and make sure you do not see a disabled next to it.

Option 3 (Worse comes to worst)
Factory Reset.

Boss skip mo na ung installation ng Testapp, pagkainstall mo ng Sideloadvr proceed to step 3. FB ka kung anu result.

In Case sa step 3, may lumabas na "You are not a Developer", magdownload ka ng kahit anung app sa SideloadVR.

Boss tinest ko uli ung sa process, gumana naman. Parse Error nga lang talaga lumabas sa sideloadvr Test App kaya nagdownload ako ng ibang app doon sa sideload vr. then proceed to step 3. Kailangan mo magdownload para maverify ung signature ng phone mo..ok naman gumana siya.

try mo manual install si SideloadVR instead of downloading sa playstore.. (Attached APK)
