actually hindi sila halos same price, ip4 is about 8k-10k pa yung factory unlocked same goes to the lock variant with sim unlocker while on the other hand s3 mini just plays around 5k-6.6k depending on its condition, and if you're lucky enough you could find a seller that just sells it for 4k.

about sa pano malaman authentic madami paraan, pero the best is Odin Mode kase kase halos di ito magaya ng clone, the way to do it, just turn off the phone then hold this 3 button power+home+volume down, lalabas dun download mode. then another way is to get it's imei and check sa website, to test for the functionality use LCD test, it's also 1 way to tell if the phone is authentic the downside mediyo nagaya na ito ng mga clone. just dial this *#0*# and lalabas agad yun LCD Test puwede mo na dun itry halos lahat, like touchscreen, sound, earpiece pati mga sensors. always check for the battery kung bloated and kung sa tao ka bibili sabihin mo test all you want from meetup, laruin mo, pag nilalaro mo dapat atleast 1% per 3-5 minutes ang battery consumption, pag pansin mo at sobra kumain ng battery then there's something wrong, always check for the seal, if it's sold brandnew in the philippines check for the NTC Seal and samsung seal, pag sa ibang bansa nabili then check for samsung seal, madali makita mga seal na yan, NTC Seal just remove the battery makikita mo na toh, for the samsung seal its always located kung saan may screw hole and may tatak na samsung. if wala or isa sa mga yan is tampered na, then most probably nabuksan na ang unit, minsan idadahilan sa iyo pinalitan ang housing kahit nirepair naman ang hardwares nito kaya ingat. testingan mo lang ng testingan dahil may right ka naman dun at buyer ka.

sa tanong mo naman na kung worht it, yeah, it is, for a small 4inch phone, it can play HD Games and napakarami available na Custom Rom, been playing with my s3 mini since i got it and it's running android 4.4.4(Latest) and it's keeping up. if im going to choose between ios and android os, i'll go for android, more customization = more fun and more control over the phone. you know how apple works, it's a money pit. not being bias.

no prob. my pleasure to help. just pm me here if you need anything. yes custom rom ito, kase ang latest na official rom for s3 mini na nilabas ni samsung is hanggang 4.1.2 lang. so if opt to use 4.4.4 then you probably need a custom rom which is better without all those bloatware ng samsung that makes your phone memory lower and battery hog.

ok sir thanks for the info. one thing na napansin ko is ung camera ganito po ba siya talaga? sa outdoor ok naman..pero pag indoor tapos naka auto ung flash parang yellowish ung image with flourescent light..pero pag naka off naman mas ok..sa experience nyo po?

stock rom ba siya? if stock rom i really don't know how to answer that kase since nabili ko toh nagcustom rom agad ako. kung custom rom na yan, then i oo, minsan mediyo blurred siya, pero malinaw sa labas ng bahay. and im using stock GApps from google so my stock camera was replaced by google camera.

not sure sir kung stock rom po ito hehe newbie po talaga ako sa android phone nabili ko po kasi to sa seller eh meron ng "kinguser" sinearch ko then i found out na rooted pero ung regarding sa ROM haha wala po ako idea hehe actually sir from globe ata tong unit kasi my sticker pa sa likod na "this device is use only for Globe..." pero gamit ko SUN at ang lakas ng signal compare sa old phone ko na 5800 siguro po naflashed na ito into custom rom para maopenline (just an idea ^^)

ngayon ko lang natuklasan mas maganda ang mga equalizer (sound booster) ng google playmusic compare sa default music player neto astig!.. haha
my marerecomend po ba kayo na player na mas maganda or pwede po icompare sa google playmusic?

BTW sir arrenskie thanks for replying my queries and keeping this thread alive..sana may mga iba pang user na pwede magshare ng mga tips nila sa unit like you!

Para makita mo kung custom rom siya, just go to settings then at the bottom (About Phone) look for android version, pag 4.1.2 probably nasa stock rom pa yan. masarap pagaralan ang paggamit niyan, specially when it comes to flashig, dame mo kase puwede gawin, for now gamayin mo muna, and sure ako maeenjoy mo yan, specially mga apps and games. about sa sounds or music, im using poweramp kase mas labas yun mga equalizer nila, since rooted phone mo, you better install luckypatcher kase need yun para gumana poweramp. just go to android app section and search for those apps. goodluck and congratz.

1. Switch off your phone and boot Galaxy S3 Mini I8190 into Download Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down+Home+Power buttons (long press until the boot screen appear), now press Volume Up key to proceed to Download Mode.

2. Extract the downloaded Odin3.07 zip file and run the Odin3 v3.07.exe file as an administrator (Right click on the .exe file and click on Run as administrator)

3. Now connect your Galaxy S3 Mini I8190 to your computer via USB cable

4. In Odin3 screen, you should see a COM Port number like “0:[COM7]” at ID:COM section and “Added!” text at the message box. This means your device has been detected by Odin3.

5. Make sure that, only the “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time” options are checked.

6. Now, extract the downloaded firmware zip file, you’ll find a firmware file with extension .tar.md5

7.In Odin screen, click on PDA button and select the firmware file with .tar.md5 extension (The firmware file look something like: I8190OLBAMJ1 tar.md5)

8. Now, click on the Start button to begin the installation process, wait few moments.

9. Once completed, you would see “PASS!” message in ID:COM port having green background
10. Your phone should automatically reboot after completion

11. You can now disconnect your phone from computer

12. Finish..........
