newbie lang po ngayon lang ako nagka android phone, galaxy s5.
naroot ko po sya using towelroot. success naman po sya. pero gusto ko na i-unroot kasi baka sakaling masira eh hindi na sya saklaw ng warranty.
ma uunroot po ba sya gamit and stock firmware at odin? hindi po ba sya matttrace ng globe kung sakali?

nung nainstall ko na yung stock firmware using odin, i tried to install rootchecker kung rooted parin sya, sabi hindi na daw. prob ko ngayon kung sakali nagkaprob unit at ipacheck sa globe bka matrace nila na naroot yung device: salamat sa sasagot

With the new Knox feature, once you root it will be easily identified even if you unroot and go back to stock firmware.

If towel root po ginamit mo, hindi nya na tritrip yung knox. If other method of rooting yun yung nakakatrip ng knox as well as flashing CFW. Check using download mode yung phone kung knox 0x0 meaning ok pa siya...

^tama po si sir, halos lahat ng variants(including some devices) kaya ng towelroot ni geohot(recognized developer ng xda) without tripping your knox pox, sya din ata nakakuha ng price sa kung sino kauna unahan makaka root ng verizon or at& t(di ko na matandaan) na sablay sa cf auto root ni chainfire..

Yeah, it's updated. But know what, after I installed Video Tube, which didn't have any issues, Youtube seemed to start working fine. I just gave it a shot this morning, and it worked perfect for the 1st time... so far at least. I guess it felt insecure with the other app. Haha!

Well then, whoever here encounters the same problem (I'm not sure how installing Video Tube actually affected stuuf on my S5, though) give what I did a try.

Palagay ko kung dito lang sa atin(sammy guys) hanggat 0x0 pa yung KWV mo cguro di na nila matetrace kung naroot mo sya after mo mag unroot , ang worry ko lang kasi kung yung pag gamit ng towel root na yan eh baka bibilang din yung flash counter sa ngayon kasi di pa napapagusapan or baka wala naman dapat pagusapankasi baka parang kinoconsider lang as ordinary apk lang yung tr kagaya ng framaroot.

Mga sir this coming june kukuha ako ng globe s5 plan.. Pwede kaya siyang call and text lang ung plan na gusto ko basta kasama yung s5? Saka mga sir . If ever nag plan ako makukuha ko naba kagad yung s5 or mag wait pa ako ng ilang buwan para makuha? Hindi kase ko makapunta sa mall dito ipon ipon pa hehe

S5 comes with mysuperplan plan na may equivalent peso value depending on the plan subscription. Plan 999 has 1,700 peso value which you can use them to register to your chosen combos only. Combos are calls and text and even gosurf. If you want unlimited calls and text, there is this called boosters which is charged on top of your bill.

No. You cant use your prepaid number to convert to postpaid number. Globe will assign a new number if you get a line.

Walang less than 1k, meron 999 + 800 un yung saken 999 plan unli net and 100 consumable then 800 para sa phone.

for new subscribers like me wala na yung unlinet(supersurf999) napalitan na ng gosurf na may equivalent GB to be consumed.

regarding sa S5 promo, sa mga taga Cebu, from July 20 - 31, Globe will be offering S5 (SM-G900F) free at Plan 1799 with 30-month contract. sabi ng globe store sa SM Cebu, promo lang daw to for Cebu residents. dont know kung totoo din to. if nahabaan ka sa 30 months, pwede mo siya kunin for 24 months at Plan 1799 pero may cashout ka na P7200. if may credit card ka like BPI or Citibank, ang P7200, 0% interest sya for 24 months. so dagdag P300 sya sa P1799 na monthly mo.

para masulit ang Plan 1799 mo, i think ito ang maganda na combination sa Superplan nila:

a. goSurf 999 + goSurf 799 - total of 8gb ang allowed data na magamit mo
b. 10 mins call to all network
c. 200 texts to all network
d. 101 peso value consummable - can be used for call and text to all network
e. free spotify premium for 6months

hmmm... ang goSurf1799, wala na don sa choices ng combo nila sa globe store. even sa online application, wala ring choice ng goSurf1799. goSurf999 lang ang pinakamataas nila doon.
