Ano ba yang red velvet na yan? Kulay ba yan o may lasa rin yan? May nagtitinda kasi dito red velvet crinkles

Parang kulay ata kasi yan.however yong texture compared to traditional choco crinkles ay malambot ..

Medyo misused ang term na red velvet nowadays. Traditionally kasi, ang red velvet, parang buttermilk cake siya na may slight cocoa at slight vanilla flavor. Kumbaga, hindi siya chocolate cake pero may konting cocoa siya. Yung subtle balance in flavors ang nagpapasarap dito. Pero dahil ang noticeable characteristic lang niya ay yung pagiging kulay red niya, lahat na ng kinulayan nila ng red, tatawagin nilang red velvet. Kaya di ko trip yung mga ganyan na binebentang red velvet crinkles kuno kasi chocolate crinkles lang naman siya na ubod ng tamis na nakakaumay na kinulayan pa ng sangkaterbang red food coloring. Yung totoong red velvet, kaya siya nagiging red dahil dun sa reaction ng cocoa at acidic ingredient gaya nga buttermilk or vinegar.

^imho ang sikreto sa masarap na paella ay quality saffron at magandang kawali kasi yung toasted bottom niya ang unique sa paella
 
hindi eh. mga tao kasi dito sa bahay mas gusto Italian style na spaghetti sauce. minsan nakakamiss yung parang Jollibee lang na madaming hotdog! :P

Yup it's misua. There are two kinds of misua - white and brownish. The white which is very thin and brittle is good for misua soup while the brownish and slightly thicker one is mostly use for non soup dishes.
