STARMOBILE ENGAGE 7HD Factory Reset

Last week may nabili akong Starmobile Engage 7HD tablet then kagabi na successful root ko siya then after 30 mins ng pag download ko ng mga apps such as busybox, nwala ung internet connection ko sa smartbro na nakaplug sa tablet. I thought dahil sa root kaya nawala ang internet. Kaya ni-run ko ulit ang recovery mode. Then na wipe data ko.wipe partition.wipe media then reboot. Pero it ended stuck on android logo. I tried searching threads kung may zip file or firmware stock ng engage hd pero wala akong nakita. I tried some zip files na I think compatible based on my specs just like 1.5GHZ pero verification failed. I look also sa starmobile site at fb page pero wala. And I found out walang tech support firmware. Paano na to? Since void na ang warranty nito kasi na-root na? Is there anyway to restore the factory setting or any update? Plsss I'm begging. It shows sa lower part ng screen

meron po bang any firmware na maaring maging replacement nito? My nkita akong same specs na tablet like inote,anio,novo etc..Pero I don't think kung pede ba. Please sana meron maging anghel ko at makapag-bbgay sakin ng links at instruction. kasi d ko rin alam bakit nag hang up sa logo ang tablet eh most of the reviews na nabasa ko hindi naman. Atsaka ung wipe/factory reset ng recovery mode ng starmobile parang walang action. Wala kasi sa lower part ng screen(yellow font) na naprocess na file. Diretso agad "wipe completed". I thought It was my lucky day when I bought this tablet as gift for myself but it turn to despair and dissatisfaction.

Driver or any firmware that would be compatible to engage tablet. Thanks. Still sleepless looking for solutions. Still 0% progress buti pa ang astra merong zip file na pede ma restore factory reset zip.

Nakita ko post mu dahil sa google dahil kahapun lng gnito nangyari sa engage 7hd ko... basta na root na natin eto wag tayu gumamitt ng app na required ang busy box... busybox yan ang dahilan.. grabe talaga regret ko bro.. ang tanging sulusyun lng na alam ko ngayun ay pumunta sa kanilang service center.. magbayad lng ng 350fr reflashing kung void na warranty mu.. Kainis kasi ang statmobile. Hindi sila nagbibigay ng tutorial , firmware software or zip file.. sila daw dapat.. sana makita tayu ng sulution na hindi na natin kelangam pumunta sa kanila..

mga sir ganyan din nangyari sakin ng simula lahat yan sa pag install ng busybox may nabasa ako na ang ICS may probem sa busybox... sakin nang yari naman napuno na yung internal storage ko every time na mag boboot ako ng rereset nawawala lahat ng install apps ko back to stock...
may nabasa ako sa google kakasearch ko... ganito ginawa ko sa es file mangr. nilipat ko yung busybox from xbin to bin then restart ayun gumana hehhe tapus saka ko na ni reset... di ko na ulit ni root hehehe wala kasing backup kung mg kamali pa ulit...

exactly the same senario nangyari sa engage 7 ko. kya lang, before pa ako naka pag install ng busy box, natanggal ko na agad most of the system apps kya hindi ko magawa yung file manager trick mo.

meron na po ba tayo steps dyan pano mag re-flash? mahal na ksi charge the service center PHP800 sabi nung tinawagan ko kahapon.

Just got my engage 7 running back to normal. Thank you to iamalski who pointed me to the right direction.

Here's what I did:

1. Install Root Explorer (Even with a low memory space, you can still install this app.)
2. Open Root Explorer
3. On the left explorer pane of RE, go to: system/xbin/
4. Copy busybox (check the item and select copy at the top)
5. On the right explorer pane of RE, go to: system/bin

(Make sure it is set to r/w. If the permission of the folder is ro (read only), then set it to r/w (read/write) for you to able to copy busybox.

6. Then select paste at the top.
7. Reboot your engage 7.

Just to let everyone know, this is a guaranteed fix for issues having a 0 byte or low memory space on internal storage after installing busybox. This is a known issue and will occur not just to engage 7 but to some other tablet brands. As long as you get the symptom of low memory space after putting busybox, this fix will apply to you.

If in any case the steps above won't work, just use Android Commander. You will be navigating the file system of your android tablet through your computer. Just install Android Commander in your PC and follow the same path indicated in the steps above, and same copy and paste for the busybox.

pag rooted na ang device or before rooting make sure meron ka ng back up rom kahit stock lang para kung may problema ayan flash na...user ang problema hindi device...maraming newbie talaga sa android dapat alamin muna ang mag backup..before doing anything on roms...

pag rooted na ang device or before rooting make sure meron ka ng back up rom kahit stock lang para kung may problema ayan flash na...user ang problema hindi device...maraming newbie talaga sa android dapaalamin muna ang mag backup..before doing anything on roms...

Paano ba mag ba backup sa stock rom na ito kung wala kang cwm at twrp recovery and d rin rooted? At saka meron ba tayong stock rom na pwedeng ma download?

i have the same problem. pagkatapos maglaro ng games, ni-restart ko engage 8 tapos biglang hang na lang hanggang starmobile logo. na-root ko naman succcessfull but unfortunately disabled na ADB debugging mode so tinanggihan ako ng mga repair shop kasi gamit nila volcano tool...

ngayon di ko magamit tablet ko. huhu

Can somebody please help me....

My Engage 7HD is stuck @ the white android logo (till it runs out of battery and dies), it will not even go up to the Starmobile startup screen and those flying green android robots. It's only stuck at the white android logo.

I have tried factory resetting it using the power button + volume button, but still nothing. Also tries pressing the reset button beside the physical home button, still nothing.

My 7HD is already a year old and this problem just happened forthweek ago. It's all stock software/firmware and whatever "ware" it is when i bought it from Starmobile. I am not a techie and i absolutely have no idea about any of the technical mumbo-jumbo or words or jargon or meaning.

Can somebody please advice and help me what to do?

boss diba A10 ang chipset nito? kasi walang hdmi ang A13 chips. pa check po at pa tut/video po kung gumana sa inyo. kasi ayaw gumana ng touchscreen.
