Paps ang alam ko. Power up is tumataas ang CP, HP at iba pang stats ng pokemon but not the level. Ang level po ng pokemon is base sa level ng trainer.
wag po tayo ma confuse between Power up at Level. mag kaiba po yun

sa pagkaka alam ko, tumataas tlga lvl ng pokemon pag pina power up mo. di mo lang ma power up yung pokemon pag kulang sa stardust/candies or max na yung lvl ng pokemon base sa level ng trainer. di naman lahat ng pokemon na nahuhuli mo is same lvl mo.

I think ginamit lang po ng developer yung term na "Power Up" kasi mas appropriate siya compare sa "Level Up" in this game (pero magkaiba talaga yung "Power up" at "Level up", but in this game Power Up = Level Up). Hindi mo naman kasi tinetrain or pinag pag battle yung pokemon para lumakas, unlike the original game need mo maki pag battle para mag palakas ng pokemon. Sir kung nag bobot ka po makikita mo yung level ng pokemon, then try to power it up and pag open mo ng bot mo makikita mo iba na level nya. +.5 Level ang kada isang power up, pero gaya ng sabi ko at sabi ni Sir Swordkis, may capping sa pag papower up ng pokemon, yun is yung trainer level.

I stand corrected dun sa level capping ng pag papower up. Level 25 ako now and 27 yung level ng pokemon ko na max so hindi sila same. Di ko sure kung 2 levels lang talaga ang difference.

Baka nga. Anyway, need talaga ang level ng trainer and IV for the maximum possible CP and HP ng specific pokemon.

some pokemons reach level 40.5 but mostly level 40,
