I need some big big help and very urgent. Could you please help me with this? I made a dual boot option with windows 7 and windows XP, now the problem is, in windows XP mode, I need to change my SATA settings to IDE mode to make things work. Now, I wanted that my SATA would be on AHCI mode not on IDE mode. Since AHCI is the modern settings for HDDs and I prefer that option to use, since that's the setting I'm using on my windows 7 x64. I was trying lot of procedures for me to install the AHCI driver controller in windows XP but no luck.

Could somebody help me with this? I need XP urgently

Since I'm on a laptop, I can't use the F6 button on windows XP setup on a floppy disk, yet the setup cannot detect flash drives as a substitute for the floppy, so it fails

sir ask lang may alam po ba kau na pwedeng dalawang OS ang save sa Flash drive, ex. WinXP and WinVista tpos mamimili na lng ako kng anu ibo-boot ko? Possible po ba yun? Thanks po.

Ask lng po. Na try nio na po ba mag-install nyan sa mga AMD base desktop PC? Kasi po sinubukan ko po yan sa mga AMD base PC(starting at socket 754 to AM2 mobo). Fine naman cya, nagboot, nagload lahat ng mga files nya pero pagdating sa part ng starting windows dun sa menu ng Repair using recovery console, install windows eh nag blue screen. If im not mistaken eto ang error code 0x0000007b. Hindi ko alam ko panu malampasan yan. If naencounter mo na po sir pa share naman kung panu malampasan ang part na yun ng di nag blu blue screen.

I am not sure if this can also help you but I hope so. I encountered din iyong blue screen tapos ang error code is 0x0000007B. I read a fellow SB provided (thanks by the way) and what I did is I changed in the BIOS ung SATA to IDE. Let you know later what part pero after changing it to IDE, ayun voila! okay na sya.

try mo magpalit ng IDE CABLE or check mo yung mismong HDD Mo..

pepede ding sa cdrom na gamit mo.. try mo din palitan ng ibang working cdrom...

try mo magpalit ng IDE CABLE or check mo yung mismong HDD Mo..

nung pag boot ko po ng cd n os ko.ok na nung mamimili na ko kung i- dedelete or mag ccreate na ko ng partions.nagtaka ako kung bakit nakalagay sa Local Disk C ko is (backup) at und sa local disk D ko ay ung original.(NUNG TROPA KO DATI NAG FORMAT NYAN.) so ginawa ko dnelete ko yung sa backup ko yung C. then nreformat ko na yung D.kasi yun yung Original. biglang yun tmuloytuloy ng magformat then sa installation na ng OS biglang nag FATAL ERROR. ilang beses na ngyari. hindi ko na alam gagawin. patulong naman po.
