if mali kasi yung setting nyan hindi gagana,
tsaka 3g/edge hack lang yan di ba? depende pa din sa carrier yung setting nyan kaya walang universal setting yan

anyway thank sa config,
proxpn will release their own application for iphone q2
for android q4 of this year

Di ko alam kung universal, pero Australian ang nghack, wala nmn problem sa connection ko.

hindi po universal ang build prop nyan
kasi sa samdroid.net iba iba ang response nung mga gumawa nyan , yung iba sabi working , yung iba hindi, ako nai try ko pero walang change sa speed ko, hehehe
dapat siguro malaman nating yung tamang setting sa globe

Ang unique lang is hacked ang "build.prop" na gamit ko eto ang mga line na binago. pwede mo compare sa build.prop mo.

ro.ril.hsxpa=4
ro.ril.gprsclass=32
ro.ril.hsdpa.category=28
ro.ril.hsupa.category=9

according sa nghack enhanced daw ang 3G connection upload/download.

eto lang ang alam ko.

yung ro.ril.hsxpa --- 0,1,2 lang ang pwedeng value.
yung gprsclass ----- 2,4,6,8,10,12 lang ang pwede
yung hsupa categ--- hanggang 8 lang.

yung ro.ril settings wont work if your carrier doesnt support such speeds at kung limited mismo yung hardware specs ng phone mo.

for example, kahit anong set mo sa hsdpa category of 28 (84.4 Mbit/sec) kung limited ang bandwidth ng network sa pinas, useless yung setting

phone hardware naman.
example, spica:

Data
GPRS Class 12 (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots), 32 - 48 kbps
EDGE Class 12
3G HSDPA, 3.6 Mbps

dapat ang ro.ril.hsdpa.category=5/6/7/8
tapos ang gprs.class=12

example, x10:

GPRS Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 - 48 kbps
EDGE Class 10, 236.8 kbps
3G HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 2 Mbps

gprs class 10
hsdpa category 8
hsupa category 5

sa wildfire, yung hardware is limited to
gprs class 10
and
hsdpa category 8

Try mo sir, Gumagana kasi both Globe/Smart with same APN, no Proxy no Port.

basta po globe ang port at proto eh 80, tcp
sa smart hindi ko alam, pati sa sun
try to experiment nalang po
protos = tcp or udp
port = 443, 80, 53(not accessible here in ph),
protos and port depends on the carrier,
nag download ako kagabi ng 60 mb files WTF almost 7 minutes lang ata,

hindi k na maalala eh, ang tagal ko ng nadownlod yun
basta nung nag reg ako then download lang ako ng config
then extract, tapos naitry ko kung coconect kumonek naman
never tried the speedtest though ,
pero kahapon nung naitry ko, swabe, yung download speed sa openvpn umaabot ng 150 kbps ( actual download status ng openvpn yun) nag fforce close kasi yung speedtest app ko sa kernel ko ngayon eh,

Units that reboots after get config status

SE x8 - posible solution, check if your on BFS kernel, if so change to CFS,

Paano po gawin to? Gusto ko na mapagana openvpn sa x8 ko. Salamat!

1.) Samsung Spica

2.) Globe prepaid

3.) SpicagenMod Alpha2 (based sa cyanogen)

4.) Followed everything sa guide but when i open OpenVPN Settings Kaya check ang turn on OpenVPN pero yung configurations pag tap ko walang nangyayari hindi nachcheck.

im on spicagen mod as well
ang ginawa ko lang
sa sd card nag create ng openvpn folder
dun ako nag paste ng ca.cert and .ovpn
then sa openvpn setting, wala na akong naiconfigure sa setting
basta tap lang ng config file ok na , connected na agad,
sa samdroid tools click tun.ko

I've checked tun.ko sa samdroid tools rebooted pero hindi pa din ma check yung configuration file.

Need ba ng 3G connection? Kasi I can't get a 3G signal on my Spica.

Any ideas?
