1st) root your phone
2nd) install openvpn installer and the binaries..
run openvpn installer using file explorer
click install > install > /system/xbin/ > /system/xbin/bb
check this directory if the installation is successful:
/system/xbin/openvpn <- dapat nandyan yang file na yan
3rd) install busybox (for Rooted phone WITHOUT custom rom)
Reminder:busybox should already be installed IF you're using a custom rom
4th) install openvpn settings
go to option > advanced >
check load tun kernel module
set path to openvpn binary: /system/xbin/openvpn
go to tun module setting > load module using > insmod
set path to tun module:
WITH custom roms: /lib/modules/tun.ko
STOCK roms: wherever you put your tun.ko
5th) open root explorer
-Navigate to folder /system/xbin/
-Mount folder as R/W (there is a button you can click at the top right of the Root explorer UI)
-Scroll and look for the file OPENVPN --> Long press openvpn and choose Permissions
-Put a check on the following:
User: Read + Write + Execute
Group: Read + Execute
Others: Read + Execute
-Press Menu and Create a new folder. Name it: bb (system/xbin/bb/
6th) open terminal emulator
type these (DO NOT include $ and #)
--edit "pag ang busybox ay nasa /system/bin/busybox"
#busybox ln -s /system/bin/busybox /system/xbin/bb/ifconfig
#busybox ln -s /system/bin/busybox /system/xbin/bb/route
[*]--edit "may ibang rom na ang busybox ay nasa xbin eto ang irun nyo"
#busybox ln -s /system/xbin/busybox /system/xbin/bb/ifconfig
#busybox ln -s /system/xbin/busybox /system/xbin/bb/route
Reminder: if an error occurred after issuing such command, please check if busybox is in this directory: /system/bin/busybox and if openvpn is in this directory: /system/xbin/openvpn

7th) go back to Root Explorer, navigate to /system/xbin and Mount as R/O

8th) on your sdcard create a folder named "openvpn" w/o the quotes and place your config files there.

bossing patulong, yung nakabold pa lang natatapos ko di ako makaproceed, wala ako pang mountng folder as R/W (di ko makita yung root explorer sa market) ES File Explorer po gamit ko.. :noidea:

update:
nakita ko na po yung way para ma mount yung folder kaso pinapipili ako sa 2 rom (CM at isa pa) kaso kahit anung piliin ko sa 2 ayaw gumana.. ibig sabihin po ba nito kelangan ko ng ibang rom :think:

saan din po pala ako makakakuha ng tun.ko? :think:

yung line ko kasi
local 0.0.0.0
bind
yan lang,
pero i was wondrin kahapon , ayaw makabrowse
kahit 10.31.x.x na ip

then edited some lines on config
nag work naman
pero right after this morning not working again
what the, ,
will try you line ok ?

working naman po ang vpn eh ,
sa globe not that stable,
smart very stable

andami ko na pong tnry na mga config files pero ni isa walang akong napagana, gusto ko po sanang mag-subscribe sa premium service pero gusto ko munang matest yung trial nila kung ok. may masusuggest po kayong magandang vpn service?

FAILED: hahaha.. na send ko na, something to do with Route.. Kahit anong gawin ko lumalabas is 10.31.x.x so I thought Ito na ang solution kaso pag test ko ulit hindi na 10.31.x.x 2 consecutive days 10.31.x.x ang lumabas.. sayang..

Try mo po ang trial account ng Tsunamivpn, no need to edit config file
NOTE: Make sure naka on ang 3G mo. at naka NO PORT NO IP ang APN Setting mo

Bai ano gamit mo smart or globe?..
Make sure naka 3G ka.. pag ganyan kasi medyo hirap maka connect so wait ka lang makakaconnect din yan.. ganyan din lumalabas sakin minsan.. Pag ganyan kasi minsan kasi sa ISP na talaga ang problema sa AREA

napagana ko na...ang ginawa ko eh pinagsabay ko..then hinintay kung sino ang gagana sa kanilang dalawa(hostizle at mango), ayon gumana ang hostizle.. connect na :))

pero ang problema.. hindi ako makakapagbrowse sa default internet ko... gumagana lang ata ang internet sa market ko..kasi dun ko natry..

ano ba ang solusyon ditto?

Nagconnect na siya sa wakas! Kaya lang super bagal hindi siya pumapalo ng 1kbps yung speed kaya halos hindi rin nagana sa browsing kahit sa mga apps.

Ok kung hindi ka maka browse check mo APN mo dapat no port no ip
APN: internet[for smart] http.globe.com.ph[for globe]
IP: blank
port: blank
authentication type: default

Reconnet mo po sir. check your APN setting:thumbsup:

OPENVPN + NATIVE WIFI TETHERING (for froyo 2.2 only) = FREE WALKING WIFI SPOT

2.2.1 po kasi ang akin eh... pwede ba ito sa akin?

May load ka ba?hehehe... pag hostizzle gamit mo medyo matagal makaconnect pero pag connected ka na sulit namn..hehe.
Download ka lang ng WIFI tethering sa market pwde ka na mag share ng internet through wifi
Pero mabilis uminit at lowbat ang phone mo.. shifted to USB tethering..hehe
