error:
the iphone could not be restored An unknown error occurred(3)

gawin nyo po ito before mag restore
1. Make sure to use the latest version of iTunes.
2. Restart.Turn off your computer and your device, and turn them on again.
3. Unplug extra USB devices. ( Keep only your iOS device, keyboard, and mouse plugged in directly to your computer)
4. Use the original cable of your device.
5. Plug your cable at the back USB port (not front/side ports)
6. Make sure na connected ang PC mo sa Internet.
7. Check your computer’s security software. You might need to update, change, disable, or uninstall software that’s causing an issue. Check your firewalls/Anti-Virus that is blocking your iTunes to connect to the internet.
8. Enter your device to DFU Mode and then restore via Shift+Restore.

Pa-help naman po ako sa sa Iphone ng kaibigan ko.
I am always receiving error 3004 while upgrading to IOS 8.1 via DFU.
I am also running iTunes v12.0.1.26

Details of the iPhone:
Iphone4s
A1387
running IOS 8.0

Reason for update/Upgrage = Touchscreen po is very buggy sa IOS 8.0 BETA

I already downloaded the IPSW (iPhone4,1_8.1_12B411_Restore). Tama po ba ito?

Sir, I have downloaded the IPSW file already and uses the SHIFT + Restore button,
I have no idea na kailangan po ng internet connection dun??

Will the iTunes verify the IPSW file that I am using?
I did it twice already, one using a stable internet (3mbps) and yet same error occurs every time.

paki consider din yung na quote ko
baka makatulong

ang error 3004 kasi ay due to internet connection problem
and yes kailangan nyo po ng internet connection while doing all the process (restoring up to activation and pag set up ng phone)

you're welcome :hat:

babae po ako :protest:

I stand corrected.

Who would have thought that a girl would be so techy about iDevices.
Thank you.

believe it or not, i'm a girl since birth :p

btw, how's your iDevice?

Orig usb po ba gamit nyo?
Na try nyo na din ba na gumamit ng ibang pc?

I was able to restore na po. What I did was to uninstall iTunes and reinstall it, tapos delete the iTunes folder under Library files.

But I have an issue again, I can't press the 2nd column of icons on the app drawer. Everything under that 2nd column icon can't be pressed.
