nadedetect siya eh.. kapag pumupunta ako sa wireless lan manager biglang lalabas yung may nadetect na eth0.. ganyan... tapos icoconfigura pa daw...
may pagpipilian sa configure yung "wired,madwifi, etc.... " yung mga ganyan,,,,

bkit po sinunod ko instruction from dis syt http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download and i tried it iba ang lumabas hndi cya katulad ng sample pix. then ang tagal mag load,ang mkikita mo lng sa screen is the word ubuntu then dot.... na parang loading pero ubod ng tagal? meron kya ako mali gnawa or di pde sa system ko? (pentium d,asus p5pe,512 memory) tnx

Um...parang ang hirap malaman kung tama or mali ang ginawa mo, based sa sinabi mo, parang kulang ang information. Kaya mo ba i-explain nang detailed and step-by-step (and please mention kung ano ang nakita mo sa screen for every step na ginawa mo)? Achaka ano yung method of installation na ginawa mo? There are 8 methods of installing Ubuntu.

Tutorial: how to make the window buttons appear at the right
How to make the window buttons appear at the right side of the window (Minimize, Maximize, Close)
1. Press Alt+F2. In the dialog box, type
2. You will see the configuration editor. Click on apps->metacity->general. Your window should look like the screenshot below.
3. At the right side pane, look for the option that says button_layout. Double-click on it and re-type the contents so that it will look like this:
That's it. Your window buttons will appear at the upper-right instead of the upper-left. Good for those who are still transitioning from Windows to Ubuntu.

I'm on my way to fully customizing the look of my desktop... major major sablay pa, but am getting there.. lol
pano po tanggalin yung borders nung icons and meron ba yung effect na expand to a larger icon pag nagmouse over...

la pa ako napipili na wallapaper.. suggest naman ng nice place to download, when i was using windows di ako nagka-interest icustomize kasi, kung ano mga default yun na yun...
pano po pala gawing trasparent yung background nung mga icons, para hindi siya white and how to expand the icon pag nag-mouse over?
sir Arvin, di ko pa napapalitan file format niya.. at di ko ma-edit yung mga sablay.. hihi
