Ngi, hindi mo naman kasi nabanggit eh. Kahit sa previous posts mo wala ka namang nabanggit na version. :) Puwede mo pa rin namang gamitin yung mga links na binigay ko, i-navigate mo lang para ma-search mo ang tamang version. Nakita ko na yung tamang version...try mo lang din i-navigate using the link I provided.

Hi Friend,

Yup, I have downloaded the ISO. Ang dinonwload ko is yung Netbook Edition as always (since it has the option to select Desktop Edition at the login page). Nga pala, as of this writing, kung balak ninyong gumawa ng Live USB, hindi pa gumagana nang maayos yung Universal USB Installer (a.k.a. Pendrive Linux) for Ubuntu 10.10. Pag sinubukan ninyo, kapag nag-start kayo ng PC magha-hang lang siya sa sa boot screen na black. For the meantime ang gamitin ninyo is yung NetBootin.

I'm setting up a dual-boot configuration (separate hard disks). Kinunan ko ng pictures ang bawat step para mai-post ko dito and ma-update yung tutorials natin sa Page 77.

sir. topet ask ko lang po baka may idea na kayo.. kung bakit hndi ako maka access sa mga email service? parang naka block sila?

Just download 1010 Desktop Edition last night and Yes I noticed that it is not installing on a USB stick I tried Unetbooting and USB Startup Disk Creator but none works! :D.. but works properly on Virtual Box ;) though I don't notice any difference from 10.04 yet :noidea:

Boss kaanib anong email service are you referring to?.. ito ba yung paid service ng Yahoo or Gmail or yung free Yahoo or GMail account?

Hi Arvin,

Yes there are Known Issues with Maverick (10.10). http://www.symbianize.com/showpost.php?p=4048215&postcount=1503

Creation of Live USB currently doesn't work with Ubuntu's built-in Startup Disk Creator due to a backward incompatibility. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MaverickMeerkat/ReleaseNotes#Common%20Desktop%20Applications

For Universal USB Installer (Pendrive Linux), di rin siya gumagana. Naghahang lang sa black startup screen ng Live USB. May nakita akong fix, pero nakakapagod gawin, mas practical yung NetBootin since gumagana naman (as long as you use the latest version of UNetnootin).

For Unetbootin naman, please ensure to use the latest version, not the one that can be installed from Software Center kasi outdated na siya. Download na lang po derecho sa main website ng UnetBootin. Nakasulat na rin yung notice na yun sa main website. http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/

Isa pang problem ngayon, known issue din pero wala pang fix. Whenever you enable Compiz effects, nagdi-disappear yung "minimize/maximize/close" buttons. So bale-wala rin, hindi mo magagamit yung Wobbly Windows effect, kasi kailangan mo yung bar na yun para ma-drag ang windows mo and mai-showcase ang Wobbly. Pag dinisable mo ulit yung Compiz, naaayos ulit. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=496730 and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=833645. Marami pa akong tiningnan na threads, wala pa talagang fix. :(

UPDATE - 12:57am (October 11, 2010): Yung "Ubuntu" logo pangit na siya due to a resolution issue. Actually nagiging problem din yan nung 10.04 pa, pero may fix na yan. dalawa po gamit ko YM at Gmail.. parehas pong hndi ko ma-access pati sa pag upload ng picture dito sa SB ayaw narin..

Hm, wierd siya. Diba naging problem mo na yan dati tapos naayos siya? Kung naaalala ko nag-reinstall ka na. Ganun pa rin ba?

ganun nga po hindi ko nga rin maiintindihan... pag may alam po kayong solution kasi dati hindi nman sya ganito..

Sige hahanapan natin ng solution yan. May specific error message ka bang nakikita? Achaka ano ang type of Internet connection mo? Nagsesetup ka ba ng proxy? Kung oo, na-try mo ba na walang proxy?

hindi kaya sa ISP mo yan boss kaanib?, have you tried using different OS and different browser?
 
sir topet ayos ka talaga gumana nga ang netbook 10.10 live usb gamit ang netbootin.:thumbsup: eto ang gamit ko ngayon sinusubukan ko sya..napansin ko lang ang bilis ni firefox prang chrome pg click mo bulaga agad ang site and the best thing is ok ang headset nya...kung naalala nyo sir eto ang problema ko nun kasi wlang sounds pag naka headset ako..ngayon 101% working :clap:.
