You can use the following packages and it's dependencies.

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install build-essentials ubuntu-restricted-extras

build-essentials meron yang c/c++ compiler; yong sa ubuntu-restricted-extras includes the java.

Compiling with c/c++

$ sudo make your_program.c
$ ./your_program

$ sudo javac your_program.java
$ java your_program

bakit ganito lumabas sa terminal pag type ko nung apt-get install?

another one sir pagkatapos ko mag upgrade lumabas yung bagong version ata ng grub pero hindi ko ininstall kasi may sarili naman akong bootloader ok lang kaya yun?

I checked the exact package name

build-essential

$ sudo apt-get install build-essential

walang s po. Sorry.

You can check po the exact package on software center you can see that package in there.

ano po kaya problema?? pag ganito

You have remove the actual medium that was mounted by your virtual machines.

Punta ka sa settings ng VM mo, look for the drives. Unmount it if that image is removed. Then try to mount again the cd image with the exact location. Or if di mo magawa.

Look for this file

~/.Virtualbox/Virtualbox.xml

Try to edit the xml file and correct the drives. Better to remove the drives that was problematic, then go back to VBox to mount it.

nag download po ako ng centOS 6.2
after ng download ito na



dito po ung problem ko kase may dvd1.iso and dvd2.iso po akong file pag dating dito ung dvd1.iso lang ung pwede namemerge po ba itong 2 dvd iso file (kung pwede po anung software)??? and ser bootable na po ba siya pag ininstall ko sa vb



tapos try ko siya extract sa isang folder ung dalawang iso ito po ung laman



bootable na ba siya??? wala kase siyang autorun ata

sir may mali ba ko please need help lang po



meron din ganito minsan



di na ako gumawa ng thread kase sa thread na toh i know na mas marameng makaktulog sakin

sana po may pumansin

---- dude, sa tingin ko mali yung nadownload mo na iso.., yung supposed to be installer dapat ng CENTOS na download mo ay yung liveCD or liveDVD, hindi yung bin-DVD1to2, mga installer yata ng apps yan.. i suggest download mo ulit, piliin mo yung "liveCD or liveDVD" iso. --yun yung bootable iso OS installer..

pero ung livedvd 2g lang tama ba ser??? na livedvd not dvd1 to 2 iso file paki clarify ser anu totally ung pinagkaiba nung dalawa po

sir ppanu po mag install/reinstall ng wifi drivers sa backtrack?aalisin or rreplace yung nsa package po,irreplace ko sana kasi staging palang yung driver sa package pero meron working s ibang site nung driver kaso di ko mainstall bt5 r1/r2 po sana

Sir have you tried mounting first the 2 dvds before you install?

1. Create ka munang harddisk ng VBox Machine mo.
2. Mount the 2 DVDs. Do not run yet your VBox machine.
3. Launch the machine. Try to see if mag.boot ba cya.
4. And also, try to reorder your boot drives, make sure you put CD/DVD on higher boot order.

-- Dude, pasensya sa misdirection, nagbasabasa ako about installing centos, at ang gagamitin mo ay yung bin DVD1

-- sa karaniwang linux distro kasi ang gamit namin ay yung live-cd/livedvd installer, where you can either install or try to run the os without installing.

-- you can check this link or watch this youtube video on installing centos 6.2 on virtual box -- para medyo madali..
