I don't have a written guide, but you could just swap the values for CAMERA_FACING_FRONT and CAMERA_FACING_BACK. Use Notepad++ or you are guaranteed a broken file + bootloop.
Front-facing camera:
Back-facing camera:Code:;------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ; CAMERA_FACING_FRONT ; gc0308 ;------------------------------------------------------------------------------- camera_id = 0 ;------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ; 1 for CAMERA_FACING_FRONT ; 0 for CAMERA_FACING_BACK ;------------------------------------------------------------------------------- camera_facing = 1
It's the front-facing camera that should be inverted while taking pictures. It's an Android thing.Code:;------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ; CAMERA_FACING_BACK ; gc0308 ;------------------------------------------------------------------------------- camera_id = 0 ;------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ; 1 for CAMERA_FACING_FRONT ; 0 for CAMERA_FACING_BACK ;------------------------------------------------------------------------------- camera_facing = 0
So if your back-facing camera is the one that's inverted, just change CAMERA_FACING_BACK's camera_facing to 1. Then, change CAMERA_FACING_FRONT'S camera_facing to 0. That way, Your front-facing camera will take inverted pictures (as per design) and your back-facing camera will take normally-oriented pictures.
Did you get it?
Crystal Clear!
Update:
Edited camera.cfg swap values for front and back camera. back camera preview and images properly configured, now that problem is my front cam, preview is ok but when i take pictures it is inverted. any other suggestions?
