ang problem ko lang nmn po mga sir ung paganahin ung Progam ko na may SQL sa ibang computer.


hehe kung kaylangan talga ipakita papakita ko sana..

btw, hindi po databinding ang ginawa ko sa project na ginawa ko po for clarifications

di naman required mag post ka ng code mo. pero ako for sure hindi ako mag post ng code para matulungan ka.
regardless kung databinding or hindi ang ginawa mo ang connection iisa lang yon.
tamang connection string lang naman ang kaylangan mo kung nagawa mo sa local gagana din yun sa ibang pc unless localhost ang ginamit mo instead na host name.

BTW most people that can help you doesn't need your code. walang cocopya nyan unless ang pinost mo ay hindi problem kundi solution.

I'm trying to build MySQL connection through data source configuration wizard

1. When clicking combobox for Database Name i was prompted by this error

and im sure i provided an accurate credentials

this purpose is for building dataset connected to mysql database in order to produced reporting data but it failed.
im new to mysql server..

Im currently using MySQL Workbench as front end for MySQL
including MySQL Connector Net 6.8.3
and MySQL for Visual Studio 1.1.4
integrated to Visual Studio Ultimate 2013 as my programming tool

please help

sir hindi po naka lan po ung pc na pag gagamitan ko ng project ko po.
ang gusto ko po sana mapagana ung project ko sa ibang comp na hind connected sa lan.
ex: sa pc ko may project na vb.net. then gagawin ko sana kasi syang setup then magagamit ng friends ko sa kanilang bahay ung ginawa kong project.
so wlang ip/network na involve.
btw, hmm newbie lang po ako sa pag gamit ng sql. basta nag download lang ako ng sql

Yung DatabasName, instead of localhost:3309, use localhost alone wala na port number

Gawa ka ng installer, para installable ang project mo sa ibang PC.
Search mo sa Google, How to make installer in VB.Net

If you're using Server Database, such as MS SQL Server or MySQL,
make sure they can connect to internet if you intend to use one database.
If they don't have internet, just install the Server Database on their PC,
kung single user lang ang system mo, dapat MS Access, SQL Server Compact Edition or SQLite
na lang gamitin mo para sa database mo.

such as
Server,
Port,
Database, and
Password.

dapat hindi server ang ginamit kong sQL whaha ngaun ko lang napagtanto. bkit nga ba kasi may server hindi nmn ako nagamit ng gnun..
ang akin lng nmn maka gamit ako ng database na sql wala ako alam sa mga sql server n ganyan ganyan.

sql server ang isa sa pinaka importante na dapat mo malaman. wag mo iwasan.

wala gui yon code lahat. pati pag create ng table.
may documentation yan dyan mo din makita or sa google.

kung gusto mo may gui at mas madali mag msaccess ka nlng. medyo pang pro ang sqlite as in pangbenta na mga app ginagamit. ang android sqlite ang database.
