napagdaan din nila caruana,nakamura etc ang ganito. i am sure makakabawi si wesley so. pero sa live rating, world number 8 na lang yata si wesley so. para makapasok sa candidate matches that will determine the challenger for magnus, dapat world number 2 ka sa ratings. kailangan maka at least top two si wesley sa world cup, para makapasok sa candidate matches.

Parang inconsistent ang play ng top ten players these past few months. At least si Magnus di pa bumababa sa 2820. Case of upcoming eclipse playing havoc with players' brains kaya to? Malakas pa rin ng draw ni Kaspa sa media, dami ng coverage niya. All I can say is that my sports world is not so good right now: Barca in disarray, Nadal in his usual inconsistent mode, and So in tottering play and all dubious for the challenger slot. Oh well, life goes on....

Pero bata pa naman siya, at malaki pa pwede improvement ni Wesley.

And Carlsen seems to have a balanced approach to life, not overly nerdy and cantankerous like Fischer, nervous like Korchnoi, or overly withdrawn like Karpov. Si Kasparov balanced din and since he was once mentor to Carlsen, all good things to both of them.
Scandalous ang partisanship ko kay Nadal, hehe: the man favors Real Madrid, while I go for Barca. I've watched Nadal ever since he emerged in the ATP circuit and offered a chance to break the monopoly of Federer, which he did especially circa 2008 and thereabout. Masyado lang talaga physical ang laro nya, but I'm surprised he's making a comeback like Fed this year, and injury-free so far (si Fed ata is complaining of his back again). I hate his interviews though, Fed is more talented and well-rounded in the communications department, articulate and all. Both great players in my book, but I hope Nadal gets closer to Fed in the grand slams tally again, hehe.
Ginagapang ata si Wesley nung (anak ba) ni Lotis Key kaya ubos ang lakas pati ng utak? Hahahaha.
Sana may second wind pa si Kaspy. Yung mentor nya si Botvinnik magaling din sa comebacks, sana namana nya yun, hehe.

Si Giri di ko maintindihan yung isang interview nya parang sinasabi nya Wesley's play is built on waiting for opponents to make mistake before pouncing them to smithereens, hehe. I don't know what to make of it: parang good-natured humor or some subtle mockery of Wesley's play, hehe.

Hindi ako familiaar masyado sa football scene. Mas bata naman si Nadal, makakalapit pa iyan sa grandslam total.Hehe.

Sa demeanor ni Wesley, parang hindi pa siya ready sa candidates matches. Kasi sa interview sabi useless sumali sa candidate matches kung hindi ikaw ang mananalo. Pero bata pa naman ito at gagaling pa. Regarding so comment ni Giri, marami ang nagcompare sa style ni Wesley na katulad ng Karpov. They are both solid positional players.
