G2 is far better than Z1. Kahit Z1 user na ako masasabi ko pa din mas maganda G2 sa Z1.

Personal choice ko ay Xperia Z1 kasi:
1. Water proof eh kaya pwede ko magamit kumuha ng pics and videos habang naliligo sa pool or beach at 20.7MP camera niya na pinakamalaki so far.
2. Hindi ako pwede sa phone na walang card slot kasi hindi kakasya kung internal memory lang lalo na sa smartphones ngayon lahat ng application na iiinstall mo ay mapupunta lahat sa phone internal memory. Kaya yung mga pics, mp3, vids, anime and movies niyo ang nasa memory card. Ako personally heavy downloader ako ng anime, tv series and movies kaya malaking factor and memory card.

Sana nakatulong ako mabawasan confusions niyo. Hintay lang ako bumaba pa konti ang price ng Z1 tapos bili na ko.

Same battery capacity sila pero ang:

G2 ko - kaya tumagal ng 7 to 8 hours screen on time or 3days or 12hours straight movies
Z1 ko - 5 to 6 hours lang / eveyday nag chacharge ako / 6 to 7 hours movies

Camera:

20.7mp z1 vs 13mp G2 pero check mo yung output image kug sino mas detailed.
Check mo din mga camera review at comparison. Hindi porket mataas resolution maganda na.

Anjan yug sensor, driver at yung mismong camera app.

Half baked ang camera ng Z1 at ako mismo na user hindi ako satisfied 20.7mp nito.

Medyo umayos nga lang camera nito sa latest firmware eh.


At higit sa lahat: yung display.. Mas maganda pa nga amoled ng S4 dito sa Display ng z1.


Plastic? Yup mas lighter siya, ang bigat nitong z1 compared to G2.

5.2 inches vs 5inches ng z1, pero mas malaking phone ang z1 halos kasing laki na ng note 3 ma 5.5inches display.

And waterproof? Yes... Pero hinding hindi ko to ilulubog sa tubig. Hindi naman kasama sa warranty ng sony ang water damage.
At iba ang water proof sa water resistant. Remember rubber lang ang nasa cover para maging water proof siya.


Di porket pareho ng specs, pareho ng performance.


Pero all in all satisfied ako sa Z1 yun nga lang mas better phone ang G2 para sakin.

Xperia Z1 = 170g , LG G2 = 143g

No big deal naman para sa akin yung 17g na difference.

= 6.1g Hawakan niyo sa kamay niyo yung tatlong piso yun ang difference ng timbang ng Xperia Z1 sa LG G2.

Kung ganun kabigat lang naman ang difference tapos water proof pa ang Z1 at may memory card slot for expansion ay sa Z1 na ko.

IP58 poh ang Z1, mas mataas sa IP57 ibig sabihin more than one meter pwede mo ilubog sa tubig yung phone habang nagseselfie sa pool. Hehe

Take note na ang IP58 standard ay cinicertify ibig sabihin ay nagconduct ng sangkatutak na testing sa product bago ito ideclare na IP58 standard certified.

Dont hesitate to use your phone under water dahil hindi naman na bago ang water proofing sa electronic devices tulad ng water resistant divers watch niyo at under water cameras used for diving and documentaries.

Nga pala sa Z1 walang cover yung 3.5mm headphone jack

at siyempre wala din cover ang speakers.

Pero water resistant siya. Malupet talaga engineering nito para maachieve nila yung water resistance feature niya.

Share ko lang itong kuha ko kahapon sa SM North EDSA Cyberzone. Xperia Z1 on left, and Xperia Arc on right.

Sa Xperia Z1, ginamit ko yung Superior Auto mode na 8MP, pero pixel-binning tech na rin siya like Nokia Lumias. Bad thing with the SA mode is 16:9 yung image at walang 4:3 na selectable.

For Sony and Xperia shops, PH-based versions yun.

Nagkakaiba sila sa standard packaging. Ang alam ko, yang sa online stores, yung charger nyan eh yung malaki na parang European version na plug. Sa PH, yung typical na AC plug charger yung kasama. Don't know about sa headset na kasama for both types.
