im a homebro/smartbro user btw. after nilang palitan ung antenna ko dahil dun sa bagyong glenda since that day on and off na ung internet ko. lahat na ng troubleshooting na ginagawa ko, ndi pa rin sya maayos. ung packet lost out ko umaabot ng 40-50% thats why ndi na ako makapag online games saka pag nakikipag usap ako via teamspeak or skype choppy daw sobra ung boses ko paputol ptuol which is ndi nman katulad dati after nila palitan ng antenna. also pag dinadiagnose ko ung internet ko before nakalagay lang palagi is " your computer is rightly configured but the dns server ( device ) failed to response. since ndi ko na magawan ng paraan lahat na ksi ginawa ko like ( ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew ) tumawag ako s hotline nila para mag papunta ng technician and then sinabi nila ung request report ko nag error which is nung august 22 pa and what date na ngaun its almost september na until na araw araw akong tumatawag ndi pa raw na cloclose nung support technician nila. so, ginawa ko is nag hard reset ako ng canopy kinopya ko lahat ng details and shits then after ko mag hard reset ang nangyari nman sa internet ko atm nakalagay is " your local area connection doesnt have a valid ip configuration " anyone can help bout this? thanks in advance na rin if may makakatulong. naka obtain automatic ip na ako pati sa dns server pero pag dinadiagnose ko ung connection ganun lng lagi lumalabas also after nila palitan ung connection ko sa command prompt ndi ko ma ping ung 8.8.8.8 or khet anong site which is weird ksi dati nman bago nila ayusin ung connection ko lahat ng site na pipiping ko even google dns. hassle sobra pero salamat if may makakatulong sken.
 
ano ba dati ang IP ng canopy mo?
at ngayon after ng hard reset mo ano na ang IP nya?
baka, sana naman hindi, nadamage ang modem sa pag hard reset. yung 169 na ip na pinaguusapan sa forum na to ay windows general indication ng damaged na network device.

guess ko lang ha, baka hindi mo na copy lahat ng important details unless naka login ka as root or admin sa canopy. limited lang ang technical info kung user account lang naka login.

siguro palpak talaga ang pinalit sayo na unit. wala naman kase external antenna ang canopy. and yung packet loss, sa ping mo tuloy tuloy ba tapos ma didisconnect tapos connect then dc ulit or talaga intermittent.
 
yan lahat nung detail bro after ko ma hardreset. til now tumawag ako sa homebro customercare open pa rin daw ung error report sken eh almost mag 1month na yun wal apa rin silang pinapadalang tech sken grabe nga e.

tingnan mo ang IPV4 mo 169.254.xx.xx at ang gateway mo 169.254.1.1 meaning may problema ang DCHP mo.

169.254.0.0/16 - This is the "link local" block. As described in
[RFC3927], it is allocated for communication between hosts on a
single link. Hosts obtain these addresses by auto-configuration,
such as when a DHCP server cannot be found.

wala akong experience sa canopy kaya di kita mabibigyan ng expert advice, generic advice lang siguro... pero pero pero ang talagang makakatulong sayo ay ang mga tech ni smart kase legit ka naman.

try mo siguro maghanap sa internet yung default IP address ng canopy. tapos assign ka ng static ip sa computer mo na nasa range ng deault ip na yan. para ma access mo ang webpage ng canopy.

malamang may mali sa pag hard reset mo boss.
