Hmm... I don't own this kind of router yet so for now it would be impossible for me to give you information about changing the SSID settings.
Di po ba compatible yung Firebug trick sa config page ng SpeedSurf 504AN router?

dapat enabled yung console tsaka script, if need to reload, reload mo lang page.
makikita mo yung console tsaka script tab dun sa window ng firebug, tabi tabi lang sila, console, html, css, script, dom, net, cookies,
click mo yung script tab, hanapin mo yung savechanges, pag nakita mo scroll down lang, makikita mo rin yung Message na Root SSID must begin with PLDTMyDSL, sa taas non, mga 2 lines above kita mo yung "if (place!=0)", right click mo yun tapos set break.
pag na set na yung break, minimize mo yung firebug, set mo na ssid mo, then click apply changes button, kung tama ginawa mo, dapat mag stop sya dun sa break point na set mo.
pag place mo yung mouse pointer mo dun sa "place" variable, makikita mo -1, tingin ka dun sa right most window ng firebug, makikita mo dun yung -1, right click mo sya then edit properties yata yun, palitan mo ng 0 (zero)
pag tama ginawa mo, "place" mo ulit mouse pointer dun sa place variable, dapat 0 na lumalabas.
right click mo na yung break point then continue.

wala naman masyado, gusto lang ma personalize yung kanila.
in my case kasi, meron nang ganong ssid somewhere sa area namin, para lang di malito yung mga anak ko kanya pinalitan ko.

ayos lang yun bossing, importante naka tulong. tsaka ke TS yung thread, sinabay ko lang para di na ulitin. tinatamad kasi.

tanong ko lang po panu po ba palitan ung default na username at password ng router ng pldt..same lng naman neto ung nasaaken..prolink h5004n...pag nagupgrade po ba ako ng firmware neto ee may tendency ba na di gumana?or may chance ba ko na mabalik sa dating firmware nya in case na magkaron ng problems sa bagong firmware? thanks sa magrereply! thanks nga din pala dto sa post na to..napalitan ko na ung wifi SSID ko..

Maraming salamat TS...laking tulong nito...nang mapalitan ko yung ssid napagana ko yung wifi connection ng galaxy s4 ko...akala ko kailangan pang i bridge mode yung prolink modem...salamat at nakatipid ng router..

Working and tested po ito steps ni sir sa SPEEDSURF 504AN, credits sau sir qwyncy kakachange ko lng ngaun, make sure to follow his instruction mga sir sa first attempt ko kc sablay di ko sure if may di ako nasundan or need pa irelaunch firefox (close firefox then launch ulit)
