[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

ahh, freeze for 1 sec lang, then magreresume? try mong tumingin sa task manager mo, baka may mga running programs ka diyan na malakas kumain ng memory.



I suggest you take this problem into another thread (you can make one, or visit a more suitable thread for your inquiry), baka may mas makatulong pa sa iyo dun.

Bro from experience masasabi ko na mahirap ang upgrades ng karaniwang p4 kasi agp slot ddr1 memory agp ang slot. kung gaming din lang ang pupuntahan niyan better buy nlang. heheh opinion ko lang to.

Hindi po ako gamer eh, more on web development and software development ang focus ko. Anu po masusuggest ninyo?

Question here. I have an Asus p861-m le mobo than can support up to 1333 mhz of RAM..I'm planning to buy a G. Skill Ripjaws 2x2GB clocked at 1333 mhz and a g530 or g620 which can only support 1033 mhz of RAM..Will my RAM be underclock automatically?..or is there a way wherein it can go on its stock clock by tweaking the bios?..thanx..

Sir yung tinutukoy ko is yung nag freeze siya for 1sec habang naglalaro ako. As in ung naglalaro, 5on5. Thanks dn po sa sagot niyo.

try to disable LAN first before playing the game..

Wala pa po ako kahit anong parts so i came out from scratch po...

gusto ko po sana malaro ng smooth kahit papaano yung call of duty modern warfare 3 at battlefield 3...

20K po buget ko kaya di po ako sure kung ok sa gusto kong games nayan...

hm yung mga phereperals po di ko ma pi fill-upan kasi asa probinsya po ako ngayon di po ako updated sa mga ddr5 or kung anong mga bago...

browser games lang naman nilalaro ko. nag lalag kasi dami kong tabs naka open kasi multiple accnts. apat na browser di kinaya ng pc namin. 2gb ram.

baka pwede 4gb na ram na build? intel lang sana thank you
