Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Ganun po ba sir? Wala po bang low profile video card na maganda para kahit papaano maka laro naman ng magandang games? D naman po ako masyado sa high end games tulad ng skyrim ganun ganun. Ang gusto ko lang naman pong laruin Dota at Dragon Nest.

bottleneck ba ang CPU ko sa HD7750? di naman highend GPU ang 7750 diba? ddr5 lng at newer technology lang.

Mobo is PCIe 1.0 pa, di mo rin masasagad performance ng HD 7750 pero ok lang yan dahil yung GPU itself is a good buy dahil sobra baba ng consumption :)

40k para sa 7 parts lang na yan? Saan mo plano bumili? Hindi na maganda ang GTX 560 Ti ngayon dahil may katapat ng GTX 660 for the same price which is newer and better :)

Ayos lang paps pero baka gusto mo yung papalit dyan sa AMD Llano, yung AMD Trinity. Within the next few weeks meron na sa stores.

Disadvantage kasi talaga yan pag galing yung rig sa isang OEM limited ang options for upgrade. Tingnan mo yung PSU kung standard size pero tingin ko hindi. Yung unit mo ngayon is really just meant to be used in an office environment.

Hindi pede ang medyo paps hehe. Alamin mo dahil ikaw gagamit nyan. Help yourself also para hindi iniispoonfeed sayo lahat. Andyan ang Google search idol.

usage: (24/7) Autocad, sketch up, web design, programming, gaming, movie watching and etc...

games: mostly mga racing games po, no need na po ng mga racing kit. etc..


Processor: intel core i7 2600
Motherboard: asus p8z68 deluxe/Gen 3
RAM: 2 x 4gb ram 1600MHz or "2 x 8gb ram Kingston HyperX Blu 1600MHz, kung kaya pa sa budget"

Video Card: Nvidia Geforce Gtx 550 ti (or mag recommend po kayo ng malapit lang ang price then sli ready for future pag kaya na ulit ng budget..


Hard Disk Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1tb
Solid State Drive: Corsair Nova V64 64GB

Power Supply: 600w up (please help, di ko sure kung papaano malaman kung anong wattage ng power supply na hindi mabibitin ung set up..

Casing: "Cooler Master CM690II Advanced Nvidia Edition" features(USB 3.0, Sata Bay top mount, water cooling ready!)
or if wala pa sa pinas "Rosewill BlackHawk Ultra" kung wala din po dont include nalang po ung casing..


These are the parts that I have already:
1. Monitor: "32 inch sony lcd tv"
2. Keyboard & mouse
3. Speaker: Sony 2.1 ch Component
5. Optical Drive: asus dvd multi writer w light scribe
4. Wireless-G router
6. Smart Bro Wimax

sir magkano ba dapat ang budget para maging Okey Pang 8 years yung hindi masisira xD 2tal yung pentium poor ko 7years old na mahigit ang nasira palang monitor at psu wala ng iba... ty nga pala sa pag pansin saken ^_^ sige ibuild mo na ng naaayon sayo taga makati city ako saan ba ko bibili sa gilmore?

budget: 15k cpu only

purpose..For pure gaming po ung kaya ung high setting ng nba 2k12 ng mga online games.
