[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Usage: For Gaming Purposes more on NBA 2k13 and RPG Games in Max Settings.

Processor: Intel User ako Pero parang gusto ko din mag try ng AMD sabi nila mas mura daw.

mga master, anu suggest nyo na pwedeng upgrade sa current mobo ko, msi 880gms e41 fx. amd vishera cpu ko, yung kaya ang mahabang video card. thanks. :salute:

pls help po sa specs ng gaming pc, 40-45k budget. cpu palang po, pls maximize sana sa gpu since gs2 ko imax lhat ng latest games, thanks! hanggat posible sana ung pdeng OC ung parts pra sa maximum performance.

MoBo: gigabyte gusto ko pero ung mura lang
Ram: 8gb na Hyper-x
Case: Gaming case, mid-tower will do
Power Supply: ung kaya ung 3HDDs and 1 DVDdrive,

Sir Janz.. medyo OT yung question ko.

Pero balak ko kasi magbuild ng Rig ko in the near future which is a FM2 platform.
Pero may budget naman ako gusto ko muna unahin yun Powersupply ko. Yun ang pinakaimportante sakin eh. (IMO)

Ang tanong ko lang ay kung bibili ako ng powersupply para sa FM2 compatible kaya or pwede ba gamitin muna ng unit ko which is AM2 platform.? Thanks!.

need pc specs.. 15k budget.. for gaming sana kahit dota or dota 2 ang pede malaro na mid-high res ..
CPU lang po ang need..

pede na rin po 20k... pero mas prefer 15k sana ung CPU lang naman ang kelangan..

pero before that may mga questions po ako.

1. dami po nagsasabi na kapag mababa ang budget mo, go for amd. pero kapag may budget ka naman go for intel. My budget is 17k, anu po maisasusuggest niyo? AMD or INTEL?

2. Kung AMD build naman po ang maisasuggest niyo, hindi po kaya siya papalya agad kahit wala pong aircon? dami kasi nagsasabi na mabilis uminit eh, baka naman masira agad. yung magagamit ko sana ng matagal.

yung build po sana na smooth gaming sa nba2k13, devil may cry 2013, assassin's creed 3, and mga future games na lalabas kahit mid/high settings lang. 17 inch po monitor ko.

hindi lang naman po sa gaming gagamitin yung pc syempre. gagamitin din po siya sa school syempre. for browsing, watching videos and programming.

another info baka kailangan po. hindi po ako nagmumulti tasking like alt+tab sa chrome habang naglalaro ng 2k13 ganun.

sa pchub ko po pala balak bumili.

Mas maganda kasi Intel simula nung lumabas ang Sandy Bridge pero hindi ko naman sinasabi na panget ang AMD. Mas lamang lang talaga ang Intel ngayon in performance/power consumption/heat. Kaya kung may budget naman = Intel.

Gamit ko before AMD Phenom X2 Black Ed. Naunlock ko sa quad core. Mainit at malakas sa kuryente. Nag switch ako sa Intel Pentium G630 na dual core, mas mabilis pa compare sa Phenom ko, tipid sa kuryente at hindi mainit.

Siguro mai-suggest ko yung A series if budget or FX kung may pambili. Hindi naman basta bumibigay ang processor. Kung mapapansin mo sa tpc may nagbebenta pa ng P4 at Athlon XP. Nasa alaga na rin sa fans at easy lang sa OC kung may balak ka.
