Centos+Asterisk+ViciDIal Guide with Clustering

I just want to make it easier to the other who wants to learn setting up ViciDial Server. Thanks to Striker24x7 for this. Again this is a guide/tutorial so maaring magkaproblema kayo sa pagrurun ng server nyo after setting up normal lang po yun dahil tyagaan lang sa pagsesetup ng ViciDial even those who already know how to do it ay nagkakaproblema pa rin minsan and that what makes you a good admin (wag lang paulit ulit yung issue mo . Even me, ilan beses na rin ako nag setup ng server ng ViciDial but still I encounter some issues na iba sa previous installation. Kaya magtulungan po tayo mga K.S.P. (Ka-Symbianiaze People). Kung may error or tanong kayo message lang po at yung iba na may alam post din po kayo para sa dagdag kaalaman ng lahat.

and i up these thread since i just got connected in a BPO in which vicidial is it's dialer


nevertheless, does it really necessary need to learn or have a background with Centos to proceed with vicidial?


i mean i have a very limited background with Linux though i was able to deployed some scripted commands before in my previous jobs with SCO Unix and Linux Unix but that was like more than 8 years ago


the last thing i touched on Linux-based was Ubuntu in which i'm still trying refresh my memory of it


besides, why is there also an Asterisk in between?

Tanong lang guys.

Nag set kasi ako ng voicemail sa server namin, tinry ko tawagan ung number namin and gumana siya. Ang problem ko lang is halos 6 rings before nag activate ung voicemail. Paano ko ba gagawing kaht 2 or 3 rings lang tapos magiging active agad ung voicemail? Thanks.

Sorry now lang nakapagreply medyo Vici lang go to the inbound group where the voicemail is assign tapos check the DROP CALL SECONDS

^Hindi kami naka IVR. Kapag may inbound, papasok agad siya. Nasa agent na kung sasagutin niya or hindi

pa tambay dito TS Asterisk user din ako pero more on PiaF(PBX in a Flash), Elastix, trixboxCE(not supported). Waley pa ako experience sa Vicidial gusto ko rin e.try yun. Salamat sa pag share ng pdf. Kilala mo ba si striker24x7?

hehehe salamat tulungan tayo pre since may experience ka sa Asterisk almost same lang naman sila naiba lang sa GUI at sa purpose. Hindi ko rin personal n kilala si striker Im just using his guide nung nagstart ako sa paggamit ng Asterisk at vicidial/goautodial/osdial. Share ka rin po ng mga tips and tricks.

ahhh pareho pala tayo.. basa-basa din ako sa site nya hihi...

Pero recently may problem ang isa sa piaf server namin, echo problems specifically. Medyo luma na rin yung Digium card namin kasi TDM800P analog pa. So ginawa ni fxotune namin yung hardware gamit ang command na ito:

#fxotune -i 4

Hahaha alam ko kasi may bayad yung serbisyo nya hehehe. Kaya nga yung steps nya sa scratch install is basic na basic so pagnagkaproblema ka hehehehe may bayad yung tanong sa kanya. Yun ang pagkakaalam ko. So para makatipid tulong tulong tayo.

Hindi ko sure kung yung pati basic na assistance e may bayad sa kanya. Linux is free Asterisk is free Vicidial/GoAutodial/OSDial is free kaya sa ganoong paraan lang sila nabubuhay through support. Kaya pagbigyan na lang natin. Basta tyo d2 sa SYMBIANIZE ay libre.

Ung problem ko sa asterisk is One-way Audio.. Sa mga nakaka alam diyan pa help naman..
