SOCCER / FOOTBALL ™ - Alamin ang Rules, Gameplay, Thrills and Excitement

^ Well, looks like the prem it is for Arsenal. Must be frustrating for most UK teams not to be able to compete on all fronts, but seems there is weight to the claim that too much local derbies and tight scheduling is killing all chances for any treble-something for teams in the prem.

From the early goings, CL is shaping to be another Bayern-FCB-RM contest.

Even Atletico could not dispose of a winnow.

damn...hard loss for arsenal....but as you can see...the squad is maturing..ang wenger is learning to be a pragmatic manager unlike before....well...as you can say..a gunner is always a gunner...look at what fabbie was doing in chelsea.....hard luck for pedro i think...he should've opt to liverpool and be guided under the tuts..of klopp..i've always loved that guy ....wish he could go to arsenal when wenger retire...

-in US i think that soccer is the most played by kids...baseball is a dying sport in the US...in the next Decade i think the top sports in US is Handegg,Soccer,Basketball,Hockey,Baseball........
i wonder why most americans gets only hype when its a WC month ..because of Patriotism?...or because americans have a short attention span...lolz...

-this season i think the tier 1 teams in UCL is FCB,Bayern,RM
and coming close is PSG and Athleti...the rest is minnows...

baseball is dying...? interesting. I have no love for the sport, but still shocking to stumble upon your observation. Anyway, does it have to do with the scandals rocking the sports lately?

bayern vs fcb is becoming a very good prospect at this point at UCL.

joint top ang arsenal and city, hehe. would it go to the wire kaya? if city progresses in ucl and finds itself in the thick of the fight in later stages, it might help the gunners take the prem crown.

neymar and suarez continues to be on fire. wonder what the journos would come up now to unsettle the MSN/barca to break the trio apart, seeing that on this form, hardly any team stands a chance against them.

"No matter how many controversies you can heap onto them—tax scandals, referee scandals, Halloween scandals, a 2-window transfer ban, major injuries to some of the best players in the world...they still goddamn win!" says one observer...

I find it funny that you think baseball is a dying sport in the US when it is the second most popular sport there. Why do you think they even call it "The National Pastime"? :slap:

EDIT: I've played baseball back in California during my little league days. Almost half in my class plays either baseball or American Football so your argument is definitely invalid.

Recent events in Paris, and to some degree that of the Russian plane and Beirut bombings, cast a gloomy, ominous sky over Europe in general and sports in particular. Imagine what would have happened if the bombers were able to infiltrate the Stade de France with the French president and all the others in attendance. Sucks to be in places with lots of people now.

^^ Lucky those who'd manage to watch it live.

As for Euro2016, let's see if the organizers stick to their schedule after recent spate of terror in Europe.

i think....lei well die down their momentum after the winter break...they dont have depth in their squad...just like what chelsea this season....leicester is having a fluke(out of the script) season...my only concern is..i hope they qualify at least in UCL/Euro...because after this season...those headhunter clubs will gonna raid their players...

bayern will just roll-over this decent juve squad...bayern is almost-invincible in a 2 leg tie..just like barca...

guess moyes will comeback to Manu ...Van gal is getting worse as the fixtures goes...

Intriguing...Moyes back at ManU. LVG is earning himself enormous flak for being such a stickler for outdated ideas and a stiff. I notice Mou started to fall after his disgraceful treatment of eva carneiro. Must be his players sympathizing with the woman rather than him. Pathetic.

Vardy and a few of his mates are getting the attention from moneyed clubs. Would have to be seen if he'd do a Griezmann or a Koke, though, pegging their loyalties to the club that made their names.

I must say going through Gunners blogs I really like the attitude of their fans. Not hooligans, but self-deprecating and polished people. From what I've read, of course.

Thanks dito ts. Matagal na ko nanunuod ng football, kung kelan nagkaedad na ko saka ko nahilig sa larong to. Atleast ngayon malinaw na sakin yung ibang rules na hindi ko magets. Sobrang salamat dito ts..

-about moyes getting back to man-u is meant to be a joke ^_^ ...

-at least mou leave earlier..because if he stays...chelsea will be playing at championship next season.....their downfall started when that caniero event happen...

-that integrity is rare nowadays....because the flooding of money for players...heck even that pussy-neck odegaard have a higher salary than reus..lolz

-yep...its better to go out against the favorite to retain the title than to be humiliated again by mid-minows...my only frustration is that every year we get to draw against the most difficult opponents...exception is last year against monaco..which arsene blow his chance...tsk tsk...
