Kaso sir topet nagkproblem ako kay ubuntu.....nng nagforce shutdown sya nng lowbat si lappy....ayaw na magboot ni ubuntu....ni reformat sa ubuntu ayaw.....BTW nakakuha n pla ako ng cd n libre hahahaYup, pero hintayin mo na lang siguro i-release, after all April naman na.

Sabagay tama kayo dyan.....Bihira na naman ngayon ang wala bayad....pero minsan ang nagtratrabaho din nman sa commercial companies eh un din ung ibang nagtratrabaho sa open source like the commrcial version ng wine which is the Crossover......Programmer ba kayo Sir topet?Kayang-kaya naman talaga ng mga Open Source apps na sumabay sa commercial. Ang problema lang kasi sa Open Source is walang pera.
Kaya lang naman mas maraming lumalabas na magagandang digital films na commercial is, well, because of money (that's why it's commercial). Kailangan nating tanggapin na kailangan ng tao ng pera, so minsan ang mga magagaling na developers, programmers, digital artists, etc. ay kikilos lamang pag may bayad (or suweldo).
Open Source is appreciated due to its nature in the programmer/developer sense kasi walang restrictions (source code is open/visible). Other companies "close" the source code para kumita.

In any case, pag sinabi naman kasing Open Source or "free" software, ang tinutukoy eh software freedom...freedom to see the code, develop it, share it....not free as in free of cost. Wala rin akong technical background. Self-learned lang ako. Although I use MS Excel a lot with heavy Macros (not sure if this qualifies as Programming). Interested akong matuto ng Programming. In fact balak ko nga mag-aral ulit (by the way 30 years old nako, lolz...). Maybe distant learning or something, yung tipong kaya kong i-squeeze sa time ko kasi may work din ako and my own family.
Pag po maginstall....tingin koh sa live session....ung habang nagboboot.....indi po ako makapsok sa mismong installer.....fresh install n po kasi gagawin ko eh....binura ko na partition ni ubuntu pati ni windows....ang indi ko nlng nty eh iformat buong hard disk which is masakit sa damdamin hahaha.....may solution kya dun
