guys, im planning to buy nds...pang palit sa psp.. trip ku kasi ang games nito eh.. medyu mahaba compare doon sa psp.. neway.. pwede rin ba mag dl ng games dito sa nds? what are the requirements? san mas mahirap? sa psp or nds mag play ng dl games? :salute:

sir nice one. sulit din bilhin ang ds. contrary to popular belief its not only for kids. haha. as for your question kung madali lang mag dl ng game my answer to that is YES! drag and drop lang po sya and your ready to play. And also, it can play mp3's and movies as well. If your going to buy a second hand ds make sure na nagana lahat including the touch screen and if youre going to buy a flashcart buy EDGE or Cyclods mas maganda yun pramis. if you have futher queries about ds punta ka na lang sa nds thread dito yun madaming active member dun (tambayan namin yun) and will be glad to answer your questions. nga pala mas madali by far ang maglagay ng games sa ds compare to psp.

just buy a flashcart and your good to go:

for NDS/NDSlite:
Edge / iEdge

for NDSi/XL
iEdge

thanks for the reply. Hmmmm. San kaya ako pupunta sa procedure about those copy paste, flash cart about nds? Para doon ako tumambay. And yung flash cart. Diyan na ba nilalagay mga dl games? Parang cartridge yan? Magkano kaya yan? Sa mga mall meron nyan?

@kenzhin

as long as edge/iedge ang flashcart na bibilhin mo, walang sakit ng ulo. :P

around P900-1400 ang price ng iedge, from walang sd card to 4 gig.

And R4 sucks. :lol:

-=-=-=-

List of accessories na (medyo) required:

Casing or Silicon Casing - kung ayaw mo magasgasan DS mo.

:upset:

So nag-suggest na lang ako ng user-friendly flashcart(s), which is EDGE or Acekard2i. :thumbsup:

ya much better if you choose a user-friendly cart
para hindi hassle

maninibago sa interface? D ku ma gets yan. Hehe. Either edge or acer? May nakita ako dito. Edge. With usb not mmc. About 1150 ang price. Naka lagay pala sa parang triangle. Hehe. Anyway what bout interface? Meron bang screenshot para atleast makita ko? Hehe. Im planning to play that castlevania, zelda, summonite. Those are the reason why mag change ako. Hehe

anyway.. yung mga games ng nds are much more interactive then the psp, ang pinaka malaking game ng nds i think mga 256mb lng (correct me if iam wrong :D)

@blitz_kreig

you're wrong... the largest rom in NDS today is 4096mbit (512MegaByte) See Love Plus + game

@ts

- backup loading capable?
* Yes
- how to play backup games and what are the required hardwares?
Let's say that you already have a Nintendo DS/i on your hand and ready to use:

You need:
* A Flash Cart (i highly recommend DSTWO)
* A MicroSD Memory Card (up to 32gb is supported.)
* A Card Reader
* A PC/Laptop and Internet Connection for downloading games and required files

Process of installing backup games in NDS:

- Go to the flashcart's website and download their latest kernel.
- Copy the Downloaded Kernel files to your memory card.
- Then after that, Just copy your NDS ROMS anywhere on the cart (do not copy/place any roms on kernel's system folder)
- Remove the SD card on your computer and place it to your flashcard..
- Place the flashcard.. loaded with the SD card you used earlier. And Voila.. Enjoy.. :D

- You're question "san mas mahirap? sa psp or nds mag play ng dl games? "
*PSP requires downgrade and upgrading process for you to play some backup games on your PSP.. whilst.. the NDS have a seperate hardware for you to touch.. and you dont really need to care about downgrading your firmware... in NDS the latest kenel you used on your flashcart means it has high compatibility of games.. most of all.. bricking your DS is the most impossible thing you can done here.

compare:

PSP:
- Games required a specific firmware version to play the game
- You might need extra numerous firmwares like ... HEN or something just to boot a game
- Requires Extra Hardwares or worst.. disassembly of the unit is required to perform Firmware Upgrade/Downgrade.
- Knowledge about electronics is required... unless that you have spare money to be done by other people.
- Definitely not a noob friendly.

NDS:
- Buy the required hardwares youre done.
- Basic knowledge in computing and can understand English is enough.
- Even a 7year old kid can boot backup games by him/her self.

meaning.. sa menu choice lang pala ako manibago. pero ingame..wala? hehe.. ok.. il just search on how to make it work.. wala pa ako ds as of now..hehe..thanks all..

^NDS in not meant for what you mean "hardcore gameplay"

NDS focuses more on casual gamers.. a.k.a "who cares about graphics, as long as the game is enjoyable and more interactive... "

if you want more graphics,, wait till march next year.. and your PSP prod will be pawned for good. ahem... 3DS?

bleh.. Nintendo rulez ...
