I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

I think it depends on what you do. Kung casual user ka at di avid AAA gamer or 3D rendering then wag muna.

Pero kung AAA gamer ka or Rendering extensive ung ginagawa mo and you have the budget... why not? For future proofing.

Then go with your gut feeling na sira si mobo.

Buy a motherboard first (brandnew, to make sure it works and to eliminate the doubt na sira si mobo) na 1150. If it works with the your current CPU then good.
If not then bago ka bumili ng second hand na CPU.

Di naman masisira ung CPU or MOBO or vise versa kahit bago ung isang component.
Make sure lang na okay ung thermal paste mo at ung PSU mo.

Meron din akong lumang i3 3th gen dati, bumili lang ako Afox LGA 1155 na mobo. Tumagal naman ulit. (gave it away last year, nagana parin )

Gusto ko lang mag thank you hehe. Nakabili nko ng Mobo and ung tama nga si mobo nga sira. Nag research din ako na most probably mas mauunang masira si mobo kesa kay cpu. Thanks again.

Hi guys, go for 600watts or more watts for your PSU for the safety and better power efficiently flows on your PC unit especially the tasks you will to do on your unit! Goodluck to us! It's your shot what you decide!

kulang ata psu mo? video editing at rendering pa naman task mo. suggest ko go to 650w psu, wait mo nalang din kung may mag counter dito na ok na 550w psu sa ganyan na spec at tasks.

yes po recommend psu 650w, yung monitor din daw need ata 1440p para hindi masayang GPU. pinag iisapan ko rin po kung bibili ako ng RTX 3060 okay naman po sa Ryzen 5 3600 o mag gtx 1660 super na lang ako. baka in the future bumili ako ng ryzen 7 am4 para compatible pa rin sa mb. salamat

ok pa naman r5 3500, pwede mo unahin gpu kung kaya mo any rtx except 3050 kasi yan ang pinaka mahina sa lahat ng rtx hehehe
sunod mong upgrade cpu then sunod dagdag ram ok na yan.
pwede rin storage kung kulang na pwede yan sunod sa gpu hehehe

duda ako sa msi psu at gigabyte brand double check mo nalang up mo din kung kaya ng 650w para kaya rtx gpu
ung gpu if yn lng talaga budget mo ok na din pero kung kaya pa i rtx mo na except 3050, goods pa 2060 hehehe
tingin ko bote 1660 sa cpu pero kung yan budget mo ok na yan para cpu nlng papalitan mo incase

Ok na to, if magupgrade ka ng GPU in the future dun mo na lang isabay yung PSU, pero sa current build mo enough na yung 550w

GPU, but usually pag mejo mid-high tier yung GPU upgrade path mo magbbottleneck siya so usually ang laging upgrade is GPU PROCIE MOBO and PSU if di enough yung PSU sa old build.

Di naman, pero depende sa purpose ng build mo, I usually play AAA titles pero naka ddr4 pa din ako pero enough pa din naman so saka na ako magupgrade.
