I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Guys nakakasira ba ng system unit parts (processor, m0bo, ram, dvdrw,hdd) ang mga generic psu kht na 700w ang gamitin natin o higher watts pa??? Kahit n wla pang videcard na nakalagay sa m0bo??? Nakakasira b tlga???

Usage : Graphics software (Adobe CS6 or later, Adobe Illustrator and AutoCAD 2010)

Games: Assassin's Creed, NFS, NBA 2k11, etc

other notes:
*Preferably i3 or i5 core
*2gb or 4gb RAM (max)
*Mobo - basta hindi agad mawawala sa uso: upgradable sa later cards and other accessories
- with onboard graphics po kung pwede

*Hindi naman po kailangan high-edge agad yung graphics since kapos sa budget... basta pasok lang po sa kailangan ko at syempre matibay.

Balak ko po sana on-board muna gamiting graphics kaso baka di kaya. wahaha

Here is my current hardware configuration:

Processor: Intel Core2 Quad Q8200 @ 2.33GHz
RAM/Memory: 2 pieces of 2GB DDR2 RAM (PC800)
Storage: 1x 250GB (internal @ 7200rpm), 1x 500GB (internal @ 7200rpm), 1x 1TB (external via USB 2.0 connection), 1x 160GB (external via USB 2.0 connection)
Graphics: GeForce 9500GT 1GB 512-bit
Display: 22 inches display
PCI (extra): wireless LAN card (Linksys RangePlus WMP110)
PSU: generic that came with the tower, 500W

Requirement: I plan to upgrade the video card to something in the GTX range.

1. Can my PSU handle it? I understand that some video cards (like the GTX460) require extra power. For example the GTX460 needs 2 pieces of 6-pin PCIe connectors as supplementary power.
2. I am not too much into gaming. The "heaviest" game I play (as far as graphics) is Crysis which, in my experience, is handled by my current video card pretty well (GeForce 9500GT).
3. I do not want ATI video cards. There is a reason why I need only NVIDIA. As you can see in my signature, I'm a Linux user. Some projects I am interested in will be about cracking wireless networks. And I'm playing around with CUDA Technology (which is offered by NVIDIA that's why I can't go for ATI) wherein I use the processing power of the GPU (video card) as an extra "processor" whenever I crack wireless networks.
4. I prefer at least a GTX200++ series and above.

Please let me know what you can recommend. Practically speaking I also don't need to upgrade my processor; it handles the job well. In fact I rarely maximize the power of a Quad Core processor. The only time I max it out is whenever I work on my project. It's just the video card's processing power that I need. The reason I asked my question here is so that I will know if I'll end up buying a whole new rig just because of my requirements. Baka kasi mas mapagastos pa ako kung chop-chop ang pagbili ko ng mga piyesa.

bro hindi naman sa ganun dapat lang kasi alam mo yun load rate ng buo system ng pc mo. Kung generic psu hnggng dualcore lang kw makakacguro n tatagal yun pc mo. Un ram dapat isa lng,plus dvd writer and hard disk. Wg kna mag attempt mglagay ng videocard dahil kakapusin na yun buo system mo.

Good am po.. Pa set up naman po ng pc pang games, net, burn and for music po.. Tera na po sana and my tatak na lcd monitor.. Complete na po sana mouse, keyboard, speaker, etc.. At kung san po sana pwde magpaset up ng mura at pwde credit card.. Mga worth 40k po sana.. Asap po sana.. Thanks..

bro ito lng mapapayo ko go for intel core i3 2100 sandy bridge. My built in na sya na GPU na mas maganda compare sa videocard na geforce 9500gt. Kung magdadagdag ka naman ng videocard kumuha ka ng magandang psu kahit mga 550watts. Di naman kailngn yun mamahalin kahit yun antec or acbel ce2 na 550 watts. Then videocard na gt 240 1gb ddr3 mga around 3200 ata sya. Kaya na nyan ng autocad,photoshop or kahit gamìng na nasa mid settings.

it depends kung high-end yun videocard mo. Bt im sure kakayanin yun. Coolermaster 550 real power sli around 2100 ata ito ngyn. Kahit 1gig pa yun kakayanin ng system m yan. Hope nakatulong bro. Nga pala payo k lng since quadcore ang build mo. Pg nagdagdag ka ng videocard magpalit kna ng psu kasi d ka makakasiguro s generic n psu. Kapag ganun n ang set up mo.

mas mura ang price ng AMD, kaso mas malakas sa power consumption..
kung OK rin naman ang Intel pang gaming, at dahil mas mababa sa power consumption, pa quote naman po ng Intel Setup for 25k

go for emaxx icafe bro di ko lng sure if am2/am3 socket na sya. If ganun nga n am2/am3 sya changed your ram to ddr3 atleast 2gb. That will do! Sa pci-E naman pgdtng sa videocard no conflict kahit na ddr2 sya or ddr3.
