[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Processor: i7 intel or pwd din ba AMD?
Motherboard: 4slot na ddr3 gs2 ko saka 2slot hdd
RAM: ang ram po 4gb saka ko na lng add ng madaming ram

Video Card: as much as possible 2gb pataas

Hard Drive: ok na 1tb or up
Optical Drive: better quality

Power Supply: better quality
Casing: better quality

monitor: 17-24 inchs na flat screen ok na

Accessories: ako na bhala sa accesories

gs2 ko nag oover clocking din saka mgnda klse ng cooler system
kc gamitin ko 12 to 20hours pag weekend

Battlefield 3 hindi kaya ng 9500 GT. Lowest settings and 1024x768 resolution lagging parin. I recommend you to buy a higher videocard such as 9800GT/X or GT 440, GT 430, GTS 450, GTS 250, GTX550 Ti, GTX 560, GTX 570, GTX 580, GTX 590. Likewise, Radeon 6790, 6770, 6870, 6850, 6830, 6890, 6950, 6970, 6990..

Kahit anong 23' na monitor pwede na sayo. Samsung or Sony. Mura ang Acer at AOC. Check mo ang gaisano interpace site. Maram sila PROMO ng 23" monitor which costs P5000 + only

wala nang babaguhin unless you are focusing on gaming. Upgrade to a higher VC and buy a true rated power supply.

For Gaming and Video Editing Purpose na PC
Budget: 30K(with Monitor)

Sa kung AMD ba or Intel ang Processor Need some info what is the best For the PC. (Di ko malaman kung ano ba mas maganda sa dalawa)

Average PC use ay 12-16 Hours Straight.

Current PC ko ay:

HP Pavillion PC (p6240d)
Pentium Dual Core 2.7 GHz
RAM:2GB
VC: GT 220 1GB DDR3

Nakakapaglaro naman ako ng Battlefield 3 Multiplayer(low Settings) sa Current PC. Pero di na kinakaya pag umabot sa 32-64 Players. 16 Players lang pwede kong laruin with 25-15 FPS(low Settings 1024x768 Resolution)

hard drive: 160/250g
+dvdrom drive lang
+lcd monitor
-as much as possible package na po as in isang set cpu+monitor all brand new..
