[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

tumingin ako ng procie.... humingi ako ng price list....
ang intel core i3 2120 (3.3G) nila ang price 5,100.00 pa din... much better windows shop muna online para may idea sa budget....

saan kaba bibile ng mga parts dre yung mura lang dyan sa calamba, may alam ka ba dyan, taga los baños ako dre.

sa Calamba tol... wala pa ako masyado idea ng mabibilhan ng medyo less price ng bnew pc parts...
sa PCX nga trusted na din kaso mahal pa din... much better tol kung idayo mo na lang sa PC gimore or PC HUB yung mga parts na kelangan mo...

or tingin tingin ka muna sa TPC para magkaroon ka ng idea sa pricing ng pc parts...

Today's computer are all capable of multitasking unless you installed a win7 starter edition. If by multitasking you mean browsing, light gaming and some not so demanding apps at the same time then your set up would pretty much work. But if you mean streaming HD movies, running application like VB.net and NBA2k at the same time, then that changes the story.

me posibilidad pa po ba na mapabilis ang o maupgrade ang ganitong specs ng pc?
SAMSUNG MagicStation MV20 po yung nakalagay sa casing nya. i dont know if model ba talaga to nung pc.

you dont need a 1600 ram on this board. bottleneck

1333 is optimize on that one.

Mag automatic downclock lang yan. The reason for getting 1600 frequency is that the price difference is small.

Ikaw naman kuya basta masabi lang ang bottleneck haha.
