I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Boss, clarify ko lang, hindi ka po makakapaglaro ng HoN kung integrated graphics lang ng processor (unless naka APU ka)

pa help naman dyan mga bossing.. ano ba video card na pinakamaganda para sa 2k budget na secondhand lang? sa ngayon naka 9800gt ako 512mb 256 bit pero may gusto kasi bumili sakin nito kaya gusto ko bumili ng GPU na 2k secondhand pero mas maganda pa ang performance sa 9800gt

Opo compatible po xa, socket 1155 po ang H77 at Z77 models. kaya pwede po xa sa i3 i5 o i7

Similar lang yang dalawang yan, pareho lang yang Z77 at pareho ding Gigabyte ang manufacturer, sa revisions lang nagkakaiba yan, in short sa features. Get the cheaper one

pa help naman dyan mga bossing.. ano ba video card na pinakamaganda para sa 2k budget na secondhand lang? sa ngayon naka 9800gt ako 512mb 256 bit pero may gusto kasi bumili sakin nito kaya gusto ko bumili ng GPU na 2k secondhand pero mas maganda pa ang performance sa 9800gt

Wag mo nalang ibenta ang 9800GT mo, sa halagang 2k wala ka na maxadong mahahanap na Video Card na mas mataas pa ang performance kesa sa 9800GT. As far as I can remember, siguro sa halagang 2k ang mabibili mo lang dyan na mejo mas better ang performance eh GTS 250. Pero hindi din kasi ganun kalaki ang improvement. Better stick to your 9800GT and save up to buy a higher tier Video Card. If possible something above GTX 650 (or HD 7770 for ATI)

Sa ganyang setup pwede na yan sa basic gaming/needs. Pero ang mapapayo ko lang sayo, wag ka munang atat. Alam kong excited ka na sa bago mong rig, pero much better kung mag i3 ka nalng, tapos bili ka lang ng 7770 pag nagkapera ka. Kesa naman magmadali ka at bumili ng ganyang specs. take note, mejo outdated na ang G550 kaya mahirap na i-resell yan at mababa na din ang resell value nyan. Ung 7750 naman, considered as low-end/entry level gaming video card yan, kung makakapag hintay ka sana, kaunti nalng idadagdag mo at makakabili ka na ng 7770 (which is much better than the 7750). Ikaw bahala kung talagang atat ka na. Basta un lang mapapayo ko. Patience is a virtue kaya wag munang atat. Hintay ka nalng kaunti at mag ipon para makabuo ka ng mas magandang rig, kesa maging atat ka na bumuo ng low end rig tapos maguupgrade ka nanaman in the near future. Mas malaki pa magagasto mo pag ganun.

pa help po mga b0ss balak ko po bumili ng cpu lng next week sa gilmore po more on gaming po Online games na kaya ung ultra setting at nba2k13 at skyrim..budget ko po ay 17k-18k.sana po matulungan nyo ko..sana ung matipid sa kuryente hehe..

Mga bossing pa advice naman po ako sa bubuuin kong cpu, balak ko na kasi bumili next week around 35-42k budget with monitor po. Eto ang mga napili ko po muna.

saka need ko po ba bumili pa ng CPU fan kahit hindi ako mag Overclock o pwede na yung stock nung intel i5? thanks

Well sa 3k, mkakabili ka na ng GT 630. However, maliit lang din ang performance improvement na makikita mo, good entry-level video card starts at around 4k pataas. Or ung 3k mo, dagdagan mo nalng ng kaunti makakbili ka na ng 7750. Pero mas better pa din sana kung makakabili ka ng 7770, atleast mas longterm investment xa kesa sa GT 630. Wag atat

Pagdating sa RAM, mas maganda ung 2x4gb sticks (atleast pag nasira ang isa, magagamit mo pa din PC mo. Unlike sa iisang 8gb stick lang (pag na sira to, hindi mo magagamit PC mo, kailangan mo pa ng replacement ASAP)

Pagdating naman sa Video Card Okay lang ung 550 Ti, pero discontinued na kasi ang production nyan, tsaka dagdag ka nlng ng kaunti pwd ka na mag 650 or better yet 650 Ti (which is waaaay much better than both).

Sa Mobo naman, similar lang yang dalawang yan, ang pinagkaiba lang nyan eh ung pangalawa, supports USB 3.0 (Take Note: Kung ang casing mo eh may USB 3.0 support sa rear or front, much better kung ung kukunin mong mobo eh ung may 3.0 rin, para magamit mo ung ports na nsa case mo. Just this month, nagupgrade ako ng casing, tapos ung casing ko eh USB 3.0 ang ports na nasa front panel, eh ung lumang Mobo ko (ASUS P8H61) doesn't support USB 3.0 so i needed to replace my mobo, otherwise hindi ko magagamit ang USB ports sa front panel. Anyway, maliit lang naman ang price difference nyan, since it's the same model with different revisions lang.

Sa PSU naman. Kung hindi ka magoover clock sapat na ang 500w PSU basta True Rated. Wag generic. Ako nga dati eh, 3 fan ng CPU ko + LED cathodes pero kayang kaya pa din ng Seasonic 520w ko.
I don't recommend the Aerocool Strike X, oo maporma xa, pero based on reviews close to being generic lang xa, hindi din xa bronze or gold certified (meaning it doesn't really deliver consistent voltage at hindi mataas ang efficiency nya) better get something like a Seasonic M12II 520watts 80PLUS Bronze (atleast ito, bukod sa certified 80+ ang efficiency eh Seasonic pa ang manufacturer. Which is the best PSU manufacturer along with Corsair and Antec.

Ung CPU fan naman, kung hindi ka magooverclock eh sapat na ung stock fan, pero kung gusto mo ng mas quiet at mas efficient na fan, you can always go with an aftermarket Heatsink Fan. Ang pinakamagandang reviews (pero hindi kamahalan) na HSF eh ung Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Turbo. Kung porma naman gusto mo, then go for the Cooler Master Gemini II S524.

Sa AVR naman, i don't have any personal preferences. Any will do.

hmm, napaisip po ako dun ha.. Uu nga po parang atat lang cguro ako kasi 1st pc ko tapos pera ko pa ^_^

Tingin niyo po sulit na to? For gaming purposes, mostly yung mga high end games (GW2, Diablo 3, NBA 2K13, Black Ops 2, BF3, etc.)

Mga masters pahingi po ng build, allocated budget is 15-20k cpu w/out monitor, gonna buy sa gilmore. Plan ko sana magG640 paired with HD7750, ok po ba yun? kung ok po yun, pwde po ba pahingi ng build with that cpu, otherwise ill go with i3 na lang po,,,

Magkano budget?maglalaro kba ng hd games tulad ng crysis or bf3? bottleneck ang system mo result nyan kahit nvidia gtx 690 or amd hd7990 pa ipartner mo dyan.
