[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.


An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Meron naman, simply check the specs. :)

Basta hahanapin mo sa PCIe ay either 3.0 sya or 2.0 tapos both x16 and bandwidth para x8/x8 sya pag two-way SLI or CrossFire

meron ako nakita sir dalawang x16 kaso 3.0 at 2.0 oks lang ba yun walang magiging downside un?

sir janzzon may tanong lang but sa mobo na ito Asus P8B75-M LE/S/GL/hdmi para sa i32100 proce sayng e! Bigay sakin ng pinsan ko yan sana mobo gosto ko bilhin compatble b sya sa proce thaks sir

sir ask ko lng about sa video card ko ano po ba mas maganda sa mga 3d games (dragon nest sea) palit 512 mb (256bit) or palit 1gb 128 bit at sa processor na e8400 core 2duo 3.00ghz sa quad core q8200 2.3ghz salamat po sa mga magrereply

Question sa mga masters dyan:

which is faster or better in terms of processing power?

centrino 2.20ghz with 768mb ram

or

AMD Athlon XP-M 2200+ 1.7GHz with 1gb ram

or

Amd Athlon 1600+ 1.4Ghz with 512mb ram?

alam k both oldies pero need backup....thhnx!!!

okay lang po ba tong build na to:

Processor: AMD A10 5800k 3.8-4.2ghz
Mobo: Gigabyte F2A75M D3H 2820
RAM: Avexir mPower (Dual) 2x8gb ddr3 1600
CL10 Orange LED 4220
PSU: FSP Raider 650 watts

hindi dapat if ever na pde kasi mag gegenerate ng over heat since wala namang magandang cooling ang laptop.

Salamat po sir. my tanong pa po pla ko regarding sa laptop ko. ang biles kxe nya mg init po. nsa gwing ilalim pa ung fan nya. any remedy po sir? TIA

Kailangan mo bigay yung model. Walang pagbabasehan yung binigay mong info paps, kulang.

Okay naman for lowend gaming at standard browsing and encoding. Pero mukang may budget ka at kung gaming habol mo you'll get much more.

karamihan ng laptop mainit talaga sir except ung mga ibang bago. If matagal na yung laptop baka marumi na fan and barado na exhaust. Palinis mo lang sir and palagyan ng new thermal pad. Medjo iangat mo din para nakakalabas ng maayos yung hot air if sa baba yung exhaust.:)
