I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

low end na siya kaya any suggestion for upgrade... for personal use lang na pwede mag on-line games mga kids ko... budget 10-12k

actually sa 10-12k, hindi lang upgrade ang magagawa mo sir. pwede ka na bumili ng bagong rig. much better kung benta mo yang existing then idagdag mo sa budget mo para makabuo ng mas ok.

Kaw din sir, go for an Asrock motherboard. Add ka lang ng 300 pesos-400 pesos. It wont hurt if meron ka additional peace of mind sa durability ng desktop mo.

If di ka maguupgrade for future ng 2x6pin na videocard, pede na din ang FSP 400w @ around 1300-1600.

Please bear in mind kahit 400w yan, hindi po yan same sa mga generic PSU na bundle sa mga cases. Napagaralan na ang generic PSU can only accommodate around 200w and generic dont have features like Overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, Active PFC, 80+ certified energy efficient.

cpu : palitan mo na i5-2500k. 9600php
mobo : palitan mo na ng Asrock p67 extreme. 5800php
ram : if kaya mo pa sa 2x2gb un na muna. If lagi ka nagPhotoshop/render movies, 8gb na, if not 4gb muna para ung budget mapunta sa mobo/procie.
PSU : walang FSP Lighting sa PChub Pampanga. Meron Antec dun.
ATX : meron din dun Fractal cases. Baka matypan mo.
ODD : pedeng hindi na muna. Lagay na muna sa procie/mobo
GPU : pedeng maghintay muna mag-matured ang prices para sa 7000 series.

Im suggesting po 2500k kasi sayang ang pedeng i-overclock para sa processor. If kuha ka ng i5 2400, sayang kasi ung mga ilan GHZ para dun. Remember the old days na ang .1 or .2 ghz difference on price are 1000pesos per .1 or .2ghz. Now nasa hands mo na ang pag overclock adding 1ghz more on stock clock. Kaya grab it na. Para sulit ang pera.

pwede mo na i-cross out yung i3 sa choices dahil very limited ang tweaking nyan. about A8-3870k naman, yes unlocked multiplier sya kaya pwede mo syang i-OC kung gusto mo pero in my opinion, you're better off with Phenom II X4 960T. why? bukod sa possibility of unlocking to 6 cores, marami kang pagpipilian na magandang mobo.. parag hindi ko kasi type yung FX-4100 lalo na wala pang lumalabas na bagong revision. saka kayang i-outperform ng existing Phenom II X4s yang 4100. hehe

RAM : Bakit vengeance? Bat di pa Doms GT? 4x4gb? since its quad channel supported.
PSU : Corsair 950w or 1200w Full Modular
Case : Corsair 500r or higher end Corsair 800D or Coolermaster Cosmos II available at Eton Cyberpod
Processor : I'll get the 3930k rather than 3960x. $999 vs $550
Videocard : Slashing the 3960x, adding videocard 7970 going crossfire.
Cooler : Liquid Cooling
SSD : Why not? raid0 dual 128gb?
Monitor : Any IPS
Accessories : Why not go for a MDPC-x sleeves para sa PSU?

Estimated price : Around 150k-200k (adding peripherals)
Gaming performance : More than enough to play tri-monitor at 60fps
Gaming experience : Superb!

i3-2100 ka pala. Pede ka upto 7770 videocard. Yung 5570 is a crappy card, please please wag mo na kunin un. Im sorry if na advice ko sayo ang 400w PSU. My mistake, get atleast 500w since you're i3-2100 na pedeng sumabay sa 7770 or 7750.

If APU naman of AMD, dun ka pede mag 400w. You should know first if ano priority mo on your desktop, what games would you play, what monitor will you use. what applications will you use.

i3-2100 is a dual-core with 4 threads.
APU pede upto quadcore w/o hurting your budget.

Pls. indicate para malaman ko mga priorities mo on your desktop.

thanks again sir villain. I guess medyo maganda nga yung una kung choice even its an epic fail competitor of i5s. On the bright side, its relatively cheaper for quad core.

My idea is building a better rig for later upgrade, kelangan ko lang patapusin kapatid ko so i could have my money alone. Trip ko lang nman yung overclocking subukan sa mas magandng hardware but not planning on running mine for that long.

@ regiesoriano08 : tama ka nga dun sir, sa benchmark ng passmark lamang ung A8-3870k and reading about fx-4100 puro negative ung nababasa ko since people were expecting much from it. Thanks! I'll just weigh it in and see kung alin ang kukunin ko. Gusto ko nga sana ung i5-2500 na halimaw sa overclocking. Perhaps investing on a better procie and board is not a bad investment for a computer rig.

Sir di sila masakit magsalita, the only problem was andito ka sa help me build my rig. Means humihingi ka ng advice for the right parts for your budget. Binigay po namin ang tamang specs but you go on the wrong path. If wala sila stock, you can always opt for 'pre-order' para ung money mo can have more value.

Pero if sa tingin mo ok na yan. Then goodluck and happy gaming.

Para sakin pede na ung fx4100. Since cinarry pa din ni AMD ang Bulldozer design on Piledriver. Windows and other applications/softwares will be force to make an algorithm para sa Bulldozer design aka Modules.

In 2years time, games will be know the computation of Bulldozer. Ok lang ung BD. Actually ako nga Im waiting for the Piledriver. Q3 of 2012.

Pero kung gusto mo talaga safe path, go for the i5-2500k. You wont regret spending much on Intel motherboard/procie. Kasi makukuha mo talaga performance you want.

Sobra sobra na ang 500w for 7750. Ang pinipili kasi naten is safe zone, in 2years of non stop 24/7 use bababa ang value ng 500w.
Tsaka you would not know baka gagamit ka ng 7770 na meron 6pin in the future.

Ung price ng 7750 is 5k. and around 5k din ang 6770.
Pero look at this graph

Same performance ang 6770 sa 7750. Pero nagbago lang dun sa power consumption. Mas malakas ang power consumption ni 6770 dahil gumagamit ito ng 6pin power.

Pero yun nga lang ang 6770 mas maganda porma kaysa sa 7750. So its your call. You should check those two cards. Wala sila difference on performance.
