I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Actually kaya na ng 500w. Para lang may headroom para sa future kung sa tingin mo ung PSU tatagal na sayo for 3-5years.

ah, sige, baka yung 500w nalang.

kelangan ko pa ba nung avr, or pwede na wala na??

okay lang ba kung yung asrock extreme4 gen3 gamitin ko? di ba overkill yun?

ah, okay lang pala kahit walang avr. wala naman masyadong power surge sa bahay at tv at electric fan lang naman mga kasamang appliances.

sa keyboard and mouse? any suggestion?? kahit hindi pang gamin. masyadong mahal eh.

yes, nalike ko na. nagtingin din ako ng mga buikd diyan eh, yung mga nasa notes.

sir villain, me idea ba kayo kung anung socket gagamitin ng piledriver when it is released? fx-4100 kasi bibilhin ko and i would like to have a decent board baka sakali maganda na ang release ng piledriver, supported pa din ang board ko kung mag-upgrade man.

EDIT:

tlga bang hindi compatible sa ASRock 970 Extreme4 ang 4b na G.SKILL Ripjaws X 4GB DDR3 1600? Or anyway to have to work for in it? Nakabili na kasi ako kanina saka ko lng ako ngbasa. Or any board na pwede magamit to for am3+ within 5,000.00?

Hi Guys!

Newbie here, need advice and suggestions from PC gurus and experts for upgrading my build, actually this is not my first PC but this is my first personally build. Just bought this last 3 months ago from PCExpress, the specs was recommended by them since eto lang yung pasok sa budget ko and that time wala talaga ako masyado alam regarding building PC. on the past I'm just a plain user of PC, no technical knowledge and so whatever but since i acquired this PC, through our friend name GOOGLE, did some researches and readings to input enough knowledge. Some of my friends told my build is fine for entry level since ang main purspose ko lang is for building this PC for light gaming, some office works and net surfing but i know myself na nakakaadik pala kpag nahook ka sa "proofing your rig" w/c is i'm admitted right now parang hindi ako kontento and need to do some future upgrades.

well to make it short this my specs:

CPU: I3 3.1GHZ 3MB CACHE
MOBO: ECS H61H2-M2 V1.0
HDD: WD 500GB SATA 7200RPM
VC: NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 430
RAM: 2GB KINGSTON DDR3
PSU:IMASTER PRO 600W
CASE: EMAXX REBEL GAMING CASE
CD: SAMSUNG
MONITOR: AOC 16"
MSE AND KBORAD: A4TECH

Guys eto naman ung list of priorities ko sa upgrading(in order):

1st: adding of memory( 4Gb? 6gb? or make it 10 to 16GB) someone told me na 6gb is already enough for mid gaming and 10-16gb is overkill naman.

2nd: branded fans?! kasi napansin ko ung mga stock fans dun sa casing parang ang hina kahit nakamanual mode ung smartfan nya.

3rd: true rated PSU? i don't know kung totoo if you invested in good PSU will save you a lot in terms of maintenance sa PC mo. so im eyeing coolermaster series.

4th: MOBO, my friend suggested na ASROCK or MSI for my chipset just in case na magupgrade ako.

5th: mid entry of gaming casing, gwapo kasi kapag nka true blooded gaming case ka. Coolermaster HAF/Elite series o Thermaltake?

last: V.Card, right now i'm contented na sa GT 430 so eto ginawa kong last, since light gaming lang naman like MW3, SC2, AOE3 and etc.., plano ko is EVGA GTX 550? okay na to?

Guys just give your suggetsions and advice dun sa priorities ko kung anu muna ang uunahin ko and anu ang right move in terms of upgrading.

thanks for your quick response, 1st okay lang ba kung malaman kung magakanu mga prices nung mga suggestions at tanong ko lang ung gskill ripjaw mas okay ba siya compared to kingston. napansin ko kasi eto usually ang ginagamit ng gamers maliban sa corsiar.

tanong ko lang kung pwedeng i upgrade itong cpu ko na HP PAVILLION a6640d na 2009 ko pa binili. gusto ko kasing palitan ang mga pyesa sa loob ng cpu ko tulad ng mother board, processor at video card para sa kahit anong gaming. sana may sumagot sa tanong ko. salamat sa inyo.

kung s gilmore k bibili ng parts mas makakamura ka may discount pa...

gskill kc yun ram nila may ibt ibang timing...the CL7, CL8, CL9

yun gskill na may timing na CL9 yan yun basic...yun CL7 na timing ng ram yan yun advance..at mas mahal...mas mababang timing mas mabili ang performance ng ram..kaya eto karaniwan ginagamit sa gaming...

ok naman xa pang gaming using 20inch monitor 1600x900 resolution
CRYSIS 2 dx11 1.9 version, deus ex dx11, battlefield 3 dx11 just follow the nvidia optimal playable settings running smooth in dx11 games..
im using window7 64bit OS

ang alam ko may mganda din na ram sa kingston like yun hyper x blu memory nila frequency ata nun 1866 di ko lang sure sir..nakita ko kasi ginamit yun sa isang rig sa isang pc magazine. sa system ko ramdam kasi demanding yun games pag naka enable yun dx11,,, d pwede yun videocard lang magdadala kasi kinakapos dapat sumsabay din yun ram

takenote sir: window 7 32bit can only address less than 4gb of ram.. di mo ma utilize yun buo 4gb... so kung gusto mo ng 4gb ram or higher than that...mag switch ka sa 64bit window 7...
