[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Tanung lang .. anu po magandang bilhing GPU para dyan ? baka matagaltagal pa bago ako makabili ng bagong rig
yung kaya ma run ung NBA2K12, Devil May cry atbp. na games na meju mataas graphics ..

thanks bro pwede mo ba ako i suggest ng true rated antec 450w para sa rig ko, thanks. di ko kase alam mga right names e di kase ako bihasa sa mga hardwares sa pc. thanks.

Antec 450w PSU is already a brand..
but you can try FSP Hexa 500w 80+ for your system

For what use?

@Janzzon, sir ask ko lang po kung ano katumbas ng AsRock H77 Pro4/MVP sa ASUS or Gigabye.

Wala pa at this time kung presyo at ATX mobo paguusapan. The rest are mATX at dalawa lang ang lalagyan ng RAM.

Is it ok if papalitan ng Asus P8Z77-M PRO yung mobo?

Other than mas mahal yan, it's mATX tapos Z77. Your choice, pera mo naman yan.

It has 4 DIMM slots though.

Antec 450w PSU is already a brand..
but you can try FSP Hexa 500w 80+ for your system

Wala pa at this time kung presyo at ATX mobo paguusapan. The rest are mATX at dalawa lang ang lalagyan ng RAM.

Good Eve mga Boss... Papabuo sana ako ng rig lng. Wag na isama monitor. For gaming po, like NBA 2k12, SFxTK, BF3, COD MWF. Not more than 21k po siguro. Sa enigma ko po balak bumili. Yun lng kasi available na store dito sa amin. Tapos tanong na din tungkol sa monitor, kung anong magandang monitor. Gusto ko sana yung wall mounted. Not more than 5k. Tapos game controller na din. Yung compatible sa NBA 2k12 at SFxTK. Yung d gaanong kamahalan. Hehe. Thanks In Advance.

you should also consider ung FPS.. the more na isstretch mo ung resolution the lower FPS ang makukuha mo.. ung 32" ko ang maximum reso nito is hanggang 1920x1080.. which is for HDTV katumbas nya ay 1080p.. masyado ng maliliit ung txt nya at icons kaya sinet ko sa average settings like 720p katumbas ay 1280x768 d2 sakto lahat and normal ang icons and readable ang mga texts..

yep , we should that's why im wondering when u tell us ur playing at max settings in 32" which is a big one with ur GPU , mataas na resolution na kasi un for sure , unless un nga ibaba mo so it's clear to me now that the reason for 1280x768 is to have a Playable FPS by sacrificing Details so it's not max at all. regarding nmn sa text at icon i believe i said "im talking about gaming" , at kung desktop properties mas thumb's up ako sa mababang resolution , mag kaiba na po kasi un diba sir hehe

pagdating naman sa gaming some of the latest games are already set sa best resolution na kaya ng monitor and GPU mo to get high FPS and to avoid laggy scenarios..

indeed , thats why to avoid laggy scenarios and have the Optimum performance of the Monitor-GPU at the same time , you need to have the right combination for it .
i guess we just have to be a little more specific when suggesting to avoid misleading , the said GPU can't maximize the settings in ur 32" at all , sacrificing resolution means sacrificing a lot of details. try setting ur resolution higher and you will see it's really visually different.

ano pong magandang led monitor 19inch pababa budget ko 5k salamat

saka may 2.5k po ba na video card na maganda kahit 2nd hand lang nvidia sana
max settings mga games... mga games na laro ko 2k12 battlefield 3 nfs the run mga ganun po salamat

pano tanggalin ung write protection ng
removable disk , d kc ako makapag
save ng kahit ano at nd ko rin sya
magalaw (copy , paste , delete) kapag
tinitry kong mag save ng file eto ung error na nalabas " Disk is write-
protected , pls use another disk" sino
nakakaalam neto?

try checking msi h77ma-g43 also may heatsink ung transistors nya. 5k ang price sa pc express

tatlo lang available na h77 kadalasan sa market.
